Danny absolutely made our night at The Canary Speakeasy in Breckenridge. From the moment we sat down, his service was top-notch, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaging. He took the time to customize my Old Fashioned’s and espresso martinis exactly to our tastes, and they were outstanding. You can tell he truly knows his craft and cares about the experience he delivers. The atmosphere is already great, but Danny takes it to another level. If you’re lucky enough to have him behind the bar, you’re in for an exceptional experience. Highly recommend!

We were recommended Canary by a bartender at an another restaurant in Breckenridge, and stopped in for a cocktail. (Would normally rec a reservation but it worked out…restaurant manager was very cool.) By design, there is no cocktail menu as they ask you what types of drinks you like and then create something to your taste. The mixologist, Danny, was awesome…super knowledgeable, friendly and made some killer cocktails, including a classic Last Word with green chartreuse; another gin cocktail with a bunch of different flavors and a smoked version of a Manhattan with Braulio amaro. Chill vibe, good music and great drinks. 10/10 would recommend.

Awesome speakeasy behind The Edwin in Hotel Alpenrock. No set menu, drinks made for you by bartenders who will create whatever you want, with input based on your preferences. Danny took great care of us and was happy to be challenged to make something new.
We ended up with a unique dirty martini riff with citrus and Aperol, muddled rosemary, black sea salt rim and smoked rosemary garnish + vodka espresso martini with maraschino espresso and real espresso, Demerara and Amaro Nonino.
(Not a food spot – just some snacking olives, walnuts and dried apricots.)

We told the bartenders what we liked and they created drinks that were AMAZING! I had a chocolate espresso martini and the bartender made a bourbon chocolate martini for my husband that was amazing as well. I am not a bourbon drinker but she created a drink that was so light and refreshing and I didn’t even taste the bourbon. Highly recommend!

Hands down favorite speakeasy / bar experience in Breck. Each drink is so well crafted and is tailored especially to you. The team is friendly and takes time to ask all the right questions to make sure you have the best and coolest drink possible! We come everytime we’re in town.

Talk about an experience! I Highly recommend if your looking for a place that can craft you a cocktail from a spirit and a flavor profile.
They Completely knocked each drink out of the park. Went from a old fashion style drink to a whiskey espressso martini then a citrus/ sweet whiskey. You call it, they make it.

The entire experience was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Danny the mixologist was exceptional. He personalized the cocktail experience to fit our tastes. We enjoy crafted cocktails and these were our favorite.
