the decorations are beautiful and the sushi is fresh and flavorful. there’s a wide variety of options to choose from, easily the best sushi i’ve ever had. the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. (photos shown are from takeout, everything was packaged well and still tasted amazing!!)

Greeted upon arrival. Sat within 2 minutes. We went on a Saturday around noon. Pretty empty not many people for Hibachi. They have lunch special daily from 11-3pm great reasonable prices and good amount of food. The server was accurate and our cook was great. The food was so good I didn’t take a picture. We will definitely be back. My friends from Brooklyn enjoy the hibachi thanks see you soon.

I have visited Mikado a few times with my brother. The space is very dark but it’s a nice feel, I didn’t visit the restroom so my review is based on dinner.
We visited on Sunday April 6 around 4:30pm. The waitress was just okay, not veey talkative or friendly but the food was great! We shared beef negimaki as appetizer, my brother ordered some sushi rolls and I got the steak teriyaki entree which was plenty to take home for husband.
Overall, it’s a great spot and works well for a nice space for conversation and a dark atmosphere I just wish it was a bit more welcoming. We also asked for dessert and the waitress was rambling items and seemed bothered? Perhaps it was a long day but it felt odd. I hope next time it’s just more lively. ⭐️

Never again, 3rd time there. The service has never been great but last night my 9 year old wanted to go. So we did, walked inside waited 20 minutes nobody greeted us. Not even an acknowledgement that we were there. The server walked right by us and not a word. Several people working only 3 tables were been used so it wasn’t crazy busy. Maybe they saw that we were hispanic an didn’t care for our money. Walked out drove to Tonys up the road. Had an amazing dinner there. Everybody was nice we were seated withing seconds. People do your self a favor and dont waste your time at mikado. Horrible, horrible service.

Has to be one of the best hibachi places around. Every other hibachi place i feel like I end up still hungry after I eat, this is the only one that defeated me with the amount of food provided. Good price quality and service too.

We went here for my husband’s birthday. We were seated at the hibachi in a small back private room. The hibachi entertainment was okay. Have been to shows where they were more entertaining and engaging but my son was scared of the fire so that could be the reason why they eased off of it. The food was really really delicious. I don’t usually enjoy this style of cooking. We went here because my husband does. But I actually really enjoyed this.

Gentleman serving us was very pushy and made me give order to him when wife and daughter were in bathroom and other guests arrived and made them take order for hibachi when all his job was to do is take food and drink order at the time there was maybe 1 table sitting down eating at restaurant , when I wanted another drink I had to go to bartender to find him , the chef who did hibachi was great , food was great . When came time to get bill server was no place to be found but was running around like it was so busy as he kept saying but there was only 2 tables now and another hibachi table present , again had to go to bartender this time he was at sushi station and he yelled for our server , who not once checked on us and we told bartender to tell him we needed the bill and containers server came and didn’t understand we needed 3 different bills and asked if we do all in one after I told him and I had to go over all the orders for him to bill as he forgot .
