Good happy hour 3-6 pm with main appetizers (Shareables) discounted and $6 drafts and happy hour specials on other alcoholic drinks.

Enjoyed happy hour pretzel and wings. The short rib nachos were pretty good – the part of my dislike was because it had a Cheese sauce instead of melted cheese and there wasn’t any salsa served with it.

We have been dining at Cook & Craft since it opened on Shea. The atmosphere is pleasant, with the option for outdoor eating. We recently met there for a small reunion and ended up talking for a couple hours, a little past closing time. We all had fish tacos, which were excellent, as usual. It was a really nice evening. The staff was so attentive and pleasant and we never felt pressured to leave. I would like the Cook and Craft staff to know how much we appreciated their awesome service and patience.

We have been wanting to try the Cook & Craft happy hour after seeing some posts about all of the options they added to the happy hour menu. Our server was so kind, he made the experience so much better. Lots of indoor/outdoor tables and a full bar, perfect restaurant for any occasion.

Our favorite appetizer was the buffalo cauliflower wings! They were cooked perfect and had a delicious cucumber dressing to dip them in. The Waygu sliders were a bit overcooked but still had good flavor with the caramelized onions and house sauce. Our other favorite app was the deviled eggs! They were topped with smoked bacon, I could’ve eaten 3 more of the eggs but they were great!

Really liked the place, all the food that passed us by looked amazing! My meal was Beautiful! But man… did it miss the taste factor. Fish Tacos (lemon vinaigrette!) WTH – my mistake did not read the menu in detail. They were good, great size, but bland. I just mentally aticipate an aoli mayo sauce or something – they felt dry. I did have the pineapple jalapeño marg. And yessss it was yummy – so I really hope that they maybe could offer a sauce on the side or something??? Otherwise if I go back – I might smuggle my own in, and try again. Lol Other food IS also an option. I will most def. Go Back Yes I Will.

Cork & Craft has your usual cocktail bar & grill ambiance and vibe. The space itself is rustic and inviting and the staff is very friendly and welcoming! Our waiter gave great recommendations, engaged in small talk with us, and was knowledgeable about the menu! I got the Caramelized Brussel Sprouts which are to die for! They come with bacon, bourbon caramel, and pomegranate seeds and the presentation was so so pretty! I also got the pineapple jalapeño margarita which was a little bit more spicy than sweet, but it was delicious and refreshing! For my main course, I got the fish tacos. The fish wasn’t too flavorful itself but the slaw and pickled red onions more than made up for it. The presentation of the tacos was also very neat and pretty. Overall, I’d definitely recommend you giving this restaurant a try!

A Wild Goose Chase for Gluten-Free Answers

I am very surprised that a restaurant in the middle of Scottsdale can not tell you what items on their menu are gluten free. We were excited to eat here for lunch after it was recommended by a friend. When you didn’t have a gluten friendly menu, that was fine so I tried to see if I could modify from the existing menu. I would have loved to have the Short Rib Nachos so asked if the cheese sauce contains gluten. I was met with a “we can not confirm if the cheese sauce contains gluten because we don’t make the cheese sauce here.” When then asked if we could see the label on the package the cheese sauce comes in we were met with “we don’t have it. we threw it away.” The only item on the menu that was suggested to not contain gluten was the Brussels sprouts. This into my first rodeo with navigating a menu to accommodate my dietary restrictions. When the server could not make any other recommendations or offer any options, why wasn’t the restaurant manger brought to our table to help or someone from the kitchen?
I guarantee I am not the first person with a gluten allergy to walk into your restaurant hoping to enjoy your food and I guarantee I am not the last who has walked out after ordering a beverage only.
In 2025, in Scottsdale, I shouldn’t have to play menu roulette just to avoid gluten. You’re surrounded by dozens of restaurants in this area that manage to handle gluten free questions without blinking. We left and had no trouble finding a spot that knew their own menu. If Cook & Craft wants to stay competitive, they need to catch up fast.

The service and atmosphere were nice, but the food was really disappointing. Everything tasted very bland. We ordered the deviled eggs and they still had ice around them, which made it seem like the food was frozen and just served like that. The wings weren’t great either, and the chicken shawarma burger had almost no flavor. Overall, great vibe but the food didn’t live up to it

Excellent quality food, the pretzel pastrami sandwich was ridiculous, it was so big. The short rib nachos were up there for sure and the fish and chips might be my favorite fish and chips in town . The place itself is an awesome space you can sit inside or out and the vibe is great.

Went for the first time yesterday Wednesday) for an early dinner and it wasn’t too busy. Open room with high ceiling so not a cozy place, but nice decor and very clean. Service, food and drinks were very good. Fresh ingredients and perfect flavors. Will return and highly recommend.

So sad about the new menu after experiencing it. We were die-hard fans of C&C but after a visit this past week, I don’t think we will return. Maybe if they change menu again back to some old faves. We loved the customized grill cheese with short rib + small tomato soup. It’s not on the menu. Instead we had the short rib nachos—very skimpy on the short rib and just lacked flavor altogether. I do not like pre made avocado/guac sauce at all. The white sauce is flavorless. A loaded nachos with beef, real cheese, refried or plain black beans, roasted chiles (not raw jalapeno) and fresh salsa would be a step up.
We also had the poke tostado—generous portion of tuna, but the kale mixed in is just weird and the green guac sauce wasn’t good. A nice Asian slaw or some pickled ginger would step it up immensely.
At least one signature cocktail on the happy hour would also draw something vs only on weekend. The white sangria used to be a fave. In AZ, a craft margarita would be easy to mix up too -prickly pear, blackberry or hibiscus. Whatever is trending.
We love(d) this place and realize economy is tough, but your loyal customers will keep coming if you keep the quality up-even if prices are higher. Also, just replace your A/C or swamp cooler. It’s been 3 visits months apart and always a cooling issue!! Agh!
