The food was delicious and the service was great but as an Amsterdam local I believe we have lost the plot. And it’s time to push back to these insane places that think they can upcharge so much.
We got the set menu for 45€ per person and the food we got for that price was ridiculously small portions …. I was in disbelief every time a plate was getting to us honestly.
At the end of the night what I ate was 2 teeny tiny croquettes, 3 spoonfuls of ceviche, 2 small tacos, 1 tostada and 2 churros… sorry but this is just insane for 45€… and the price didn’t even include any drinks so u have to pay even more than that
I will not be coming back and I will not recommend this to anyone else, if anything I would discourage people from eating there
Can we go back to normal prices for people to eat out in Amsterdam?

The food here is excellent!
Flavorful, rich, and unique.
Not so much Mexican as south of the border mixture. I had three dishes and they were all delicious.
Definitely try the mushroom tacos and duck enchiladas.
Service was fast & friendly.

I wanted some real mexican food and drinks, and this turned out to be really close to when I was in Mexico for vacation. Great food, nice flavours and nice seinks as well. Service was also pretty fast and kind. Recommended!

We had our team dinner at Cabron last night with 20 people, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing, full of flavor and beautifully prepared.
What truly stood out was the team. They were incredibly helpful, flexible, and attentive, handling a large group effortlessly and with a great attitude. You could really feel that they care about their guests and take pride in delivering genuine hospitality.
A special thank you to Dani, Alex, and the rest of the team for hosting us so well. A fantastic place for group dinners and team events, highly recommended.

Great food! The host I very nice as well and creates a fun ambience. The food is very good and the ceviche ( which was not on the menu) was very tasty.

We love the food! We had a tasting menu and ordered at least two more item that were a la carte. It was a really great first time experience eating here. The crew is so friendly and attentive. Have I mentioned that the food was delicious? My bf compliments the flavors that neither of us can copy at home. So that’s a massive plus for us. We’ll definitely come back and next time we’ll be bringing family and friends.

I had the Cabrón Tasting Menu, and it was a total win! For just 19 euros, we got to try three types of tacos, a quesadilla, and a chocolate-filled churro to top it off. The tacos ranged from the tender carnitas with pineapple, a crispy fish taco with a nice aji mayo kick, to a unique aubergine barbacoa. The quesadilla with beef stew was super flavorful, and I couldn’t get enough of the rich, cheesy filling paired with the consomé. To end the meal, the churro was perfectly crispy with a gooey chocolate center. Hands down, one of the best Mexican food spots I’ve found in Amsterdam, especially for the price!
