We used Dickey’s in North Branch to cater a sports awards banquet for 150 people. Hannah is their catering contact and she was so fantastic to work with! There was a direct number right to her and she even answered at odd times. She was so kind and eager to help with anything! We originally have her a 200 head count. Went down to 140 a week prior. Then up to 150 3 days prior. All with no complaints; they were happy to accommodate. Tim delivered our order and made sure we had everything we needed! Dropped it off with plenty of time for us to get it set up. We did the 2 meat combo with 3 sides and Texas toast. The brisket and chicken were delicious. The mac & chez was the favorite then the baked potato casserole. We had the most baked BBQ beans left. We ordered an extra 5 pounds of chicken bc I was worried about running outta meat with a large group of teenage boys and had pretty much the perfect amount of brisket and a lot of leftover chicken. Def went thru all the Texas toast! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hannah and her team for any other catering event! It made for a stress-free event for us and lots of compliments on the dinner to our non-profit board! Thank you Dickey’s!

I used to get dickeys all the time a few years ago but when i went again recently it was horrible there were two teenage girls working and they were making tiktoks and messing around and i asked for chopped brisket well done and i got it not chopped and the fattiest pieces and in my fries i found a uncooked fry.

I ordered the three meat plate. The food had good flavor and the portion sizes were good. The two side dishes were hot when served; however, all three meats were cold, which caused some concern from a food safety standpoint.

Tim Davis is an absolute delight to be around. Helpful, very friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve been coming here for the last 2 years and enjoy the Marinated Chicken and Brisket every time!

We walked in and were greeted with a nice hello how can I help you. Very clean tables and bathrooms were very clean. The food was delicious and very acceptable time on the wait of the food. They asked if we needed any extra items (we were good) and sent us on our way. Thanks for making our day

We should have read the reviews before we stopped. I have been to Dickey’s before and wanted to bring somebody that had never been there before. I’m sorry I did. While the staff was very pleasant and the aroma in the restaurant was very pleasing, The food was very disappointing. For $28.00, (1st pic is before we took any bites) Portions were very small and everything was lukewarm at best. This seems to be the theme running through most of the reviews for this store. They do catering but I don’t think I would trust the food. The mac and cheese was very bland there was no bacon in the beans with bacon. The chicken was very dry. I will say that the brisket tasted very good had a good bark and smoke line and the pulled pork was pretty flavorful. The bread was nothing. I keep seeing responses to bad reviews about coming back to make it right. We won’t be back.

I had such an incredible lunch at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit today. Tim Davis the owner was incredibly friendly and was able to assist me when I had questions about ordering and the menu. I had a delicious and well portioned meal of jalapeño cheddar sausage and beef brisket. The meat was nice and hot and the sides were exceptional as well. Not to mention the delicious smell of brisket and fun-loving atmosphere of the restaurant as a whole. Will definitely be returning for family dinner soon!!
