Atmosphere and service from Joel was exceptional and made the entire evening. French Onion soup, which included several varieties of onions, was top notch. Drinks were good, but standard. Spinach Artichoke dip was satisfying with large bites of artichokes. It actually had some heft to the dish as compared to most Spinach Artichoke dips. Happy Hour was worth while with good selection and above standard fair. My only issue was the tuna salad plate. While the zucchini bread was quite moist and tasty, the rest was barely standard. The presentation reminded me of a quick grab and go platter. And for the price of $24 I would have expected a little more effort. 4 blueberries, 1 blackberry, and a strawberry does not meet the standards of this place. I highly recommend a visit with a slow dinner to enjoy the service and ambience (just forgo the tuna salad plate)

What an awesome experience! Great food, great service, and amazing atmosphere. Food was prepared wonderfully and tasted incredibly fresh. I definitely would recommend the signature ballard’s burger and the white cheddar nuggets, so good.

The sheer opulence and magnificence of the atrium add to the experience. Food presentation was acceptable. Service was good. I had a wagu burger and fries. Wagu in and of itself is spectacular this was that. Nothing super special about the meal tho. My pineapple whip mimosa was ok and MUCH too small for $10. The hotel itself is worth the visit! Go. Enjoy the rich history and the majesty. (I made a brunch reservation… it’s not necessary.)

Wow. Of course the atmosphere is amazing sitting in the atrium of the West Baden Resort. All wait staff was amazing. Food was wonderful and actually not that expensive. I had the ham and cheese on Hawaiian bun with poppy seed coating and house made chips and French onion soup. My daughter had the same but with fruit. They also have a bowl of a mix of snacks while you wait for your food. I was extremely impressed. Food and service and atmosphere was great.

Ballard’s in the Atrium is one of my favorite places at West Baden Springs Resort. The restaurant is along the inside curve of the hotel right in the middle of all the action. The food and service was great and the bar is pretty cool looking. We had breakfast and lunch here, and is nice to grab a drink before heading back up to the room.

Had a Christmas Eve meal at this restaurant in the atrium of the West Baden Hotel. Terrific waitress and service, and a fantastic view of the dome with the large Christmas tree serving as a focal point for people milling about. The food was good, not great. I had been anticipating the French Onion soup and it didn’t quite meet my expectation. The penne dish was rich and required a bite or two of the peppermint creme brulee as a refresher. The live piano Christmas tunes really helped to set a peaceful vibe. Eat here for the view and Sinclair’s for the food.

The atrium is beautiful, but the service and food was not up to the standard of a resort of this caliber. The service was entirely too slow, waiting close to an hour on our entrees with the appetizer we ordered arriving at the same time, our waiter was rarely checking in with us and any request (drinks, checks, etc) took a tremendous amount of time. two members of our party were able to walk across the resort, get ice cream, and come back to the table before our waiter returned with our change for the check. The food, which we were excited about, was mediocre and bland. Everything was dried out as if it had been sitting for a long time and I felt that the quality did not meet the price point. I would have a hard time returning here to eat or recommending it as there are many great dining options in town with better food service for far less.

The atmosphere isn’t the only thing that was awesome! The burger was PHENOMENAL as well! Probably the best burger that I have had in a while! It was so juicy and flavorful! The frizzled leeks… Complemented the burger SO WELL! Overall, this place is spacious, very scenic, and no need to have a reservation or night stay to eat here. Drinks were good as well I recommend a margarita or sangria! Lastly, who wouldn’t like some complementary Chex Mix to snack on for free? Dine here if you can!

We had a very enjoyable meal during our stay at West Baden. The atmosphere is amazing! Food was good. French onion soup was delicious and the signature burger was so good. Our server, Cathy, was excellent…so kind and attentive. She made the evening even better!

We ate here While we were staying at French Lick Resort. Unfortunately, the restaurant in the atrium was under construction, and we sat in Sinclair’s restaurant, which was very nearby to the regular location. While the atrium is beautiful, this restaurant location was just as beautiful! I started with crabcakes, which are not on the menu, but the chef graciously made for us. They were very meaty-which is an important thing for me with crab cakes-and had a great sauce with them. The French soup had a very nice beef broth. They had pearl onions in it which is a nice change from the normal French onion soup. I would highly recommend it! Our entrées included the margarita, pizza, black and blue steak salad, Maine lobster roll, and the smoked chicken penne vodka. The steak had a very nice Cajun seasoning on it and was cooked perfectly to medium rare as ordered. The lobster roll was served on a dinner roll, not the “traditional” presentation but still delicious! our server, unfortunately, I don’t remember her name, was wonderful. The atmosphere was over the top!
