Adorable local restaurant. Delicious, fresh food, service was quick. Prices very reasonable for portions. Spacious, clean, cozy. We got the cashew chicken and bbq bento. Definitely appreciated that the sauces were lighter and not overly salty.

Unfortunately, I don’t know if we will be coming back. My husband and I felt very disrespected this evening. After picking up an order through the drive thru and paying 50 dollars including a tip, we found out after he got home that our order was very wrong. We used to live in Brooksville and found this awesome little place. Well it was awesome while the mother ran it. I literally ranted over this place and left good reviews everywhere I could and recommend everyone we know who enjoys Asian food. After moving 45 mins away, we still made the trip to purchase her food. We order the same thing everytime. A large Mongolian beef with a side extra cooked bean sprouts, a large schezuan pork, and 7 egg rolls. Tonight it was ran completely by teenagers. They didn’t know how to cook the bean sprouts or how to ring them up. No biggie, but when we got home and started to make table we had a large beef noodle instead of Mongolian beef and when we called to speak to them about it, they argued with my husband that he didn’t know what he ordered and then to end the call told him that the owner would call him in a few mins. We never received the call and after eating what we received the food just wasn’t the same. The pork was very fatty, with large, rubbery fatty pieces and very little meat attached to the fat. It was flavorful, but very little meat to fat ratio. The beef noodles were okay, but again. Mostly noodles and barely any beef. I just don’t know if it was worth the money this time, or if Im willing to pay another 50 bucks for a pot luck. We always order the same thing. We know what we ordered and it was just very disrespectful to argue that we are just wrong and have no idea what we ordered. I dunno. Just super disappointed, we really used to love this place, but those kids don’t know what their doing, let alone customer service. That was just so rude.
Edit to add response to owners response, they did not repeat the order. None the less the fact that you can’t take responsibility and act like its my fault. No problem. I know what I ordered. YOU were not there. Whoever told you that lied to you. But whatever, no problem. We won’t come back and will warn others. Thanks for confirming my decision. I will pay someone else for food. Great customer service. Very disappointed. What I said what I said about the food still stands. Why did they give me 3 things with noodles? If my husband heard lo mein he would have said something, seeing how he HATES lo mein and we NEVER order it in this house. I had no reason to believe mu order was going to be wrong this time. But go ahead and tell me how it is. Im sure glad I tipped. I should have gotten better pictures of the pork. Not worth the money anymore even with the bad customer service.

I love Taipei Taipei! It’s such a cool atmosphere and the food is SO good. In my opinion, it’s the best Chinese food in Brooksville! I love the Shrimp Mei Fun and the Egg Foo Yung – the gravy I can’t find as tasty any where else! Ming has a great sense of community and always helps in anyway possible! I always enjoy talking to the owner and all of the delightful young people that help her out! Have loved this place forever, and continue to do so! Thank you for all you do!

We’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and went there Saturday for lunch. It was probably the worst dining experience we’ve ever had. We waited 20mins for someone to come out of the back to greet us. This poor man who works there is not only the person who takes the orders but also cooks them. The food was atrocious. All the vegetables were spoiled and the chicken had gone bad. My boba tea tasted like water. The only reason I left two stars is because the guy working was very kind and apologetic and one of the boba teas we ordered was actually good but everything else we had was terrible. My son who’s a toddler even took one bite of the bao and spit it out and started crying. My mom took one bite of her chicken and had to use the bathroom. I ordered the veggie soup with tofu and all the veggies had gone bad and the noodles were like a clump of glue. The whole experience was really embarrassing for everyone. We will never come back. I guess there’s a reason it was completely empty on a Saturday. It was a waste of $60 and we were very disappointed. I saw the most recent reviews for this place and I wish I had read them before we came here. Do not eat here! I feel so bad for the guy who works here he was so embarrassed. We still left a tip for him and he was nice. I hope the owner reads this review and makes some changes. I see the owner commented on other reviews blaming the customers for their bad experience. So I’m sure my complaints fall of deaf ears but I wanna warn others not to come here and waste their money.

EDIT: After a disappointing visit, I came in and spoke with the owner and she was very nice. I was issued a full refund and two drink tickets. I know it’s hard running a small business and she seemed very sincere about the mistakes that were made and I don’t believe anything like this will happen again. 🙂 Still a great place. The milk tea & Sesame balls are also still very good.

The service was excellent but the food was horrible, the pork fried rice had no flavor and resembles brown rice , the pork was disgusting and not sure it was pork, the young lady told me when I asked how they make the pork , she said it is small cubed pork which it was not at all, it look like it was hand pulled pork in large flat peices , I asked for cooked onions and bean sprouts in the pork fried rice in which there was none, they ended up putting in the Mongolian beef instead which the Mongolian beef is supposed to be cooked with green scallions instead it was cooked like a soup it was all disgusting and dont know how this restaurant even has 4.3 rating after something like this, this is the worst food I have ever had, I had to throw everything out and they charged me extra for something they did not even get right. I will include few pic , it taste worse than it looks . I won’t ever be going back after waisting about 60 dollars . I would not recommend this place at all.

Was driving through Brooksville with my sleeping toddler and wanted to pick up something good to bring home for dinner on my way through but not traditional fast food, found this place on the way. They brought the food right out to me within 10 min of me ordering it on Door Dash through their drive thru area. The food was good and very reasonably priced as well. The entree came with fried rice and soup or egg roll which I appreciated (wonton soup is my favorite). It seemed like everything was made with care and tasted real The veggie fried rice was loaded with veggies
Def a great option and healthy alternative to “fast food” and the drive thru aspect is great, especially for those of us that always have a sleeping kid in the car as soon as you’re hungry

I ordered the general tao chicken with the fried rice and eggroll. It was ready in 10 minutes. The pick up through their back door drive-up was very convenient. The staff was very nice. The food is very good. I will definitely order here again.

My fiancé for d this restaurant on Google and we drove 24 minutes to try them out and to start off just the outside has that old school hole in the wall vibes. Walking in and being welcomed was top tier. We brought the food home and let’s just say we will be going back. I had the sesame chicken extra sesame seeds and the chicken wasn’t drenched in sauce, it had the right amount. We also tried their boba tea (I had the blackberry with black tea and strawberry boba and my fiancé had the strawberry with green tea with kiwi boba). I will get a boba tea every time I go.
