This place is a lot better than the one in Dilworth. Worth the drive from the other side of town. I order a quart rotisserie chicken w/yuca and plantains. My daughter (not in pic) order a lomo saltado. The meat was so tender and juice. I would definitely go here again!

Very kind staff and phenomenal food. Use half the bottle of garlic sauce like I and my dining partner did. Garlic sauce is enough of a reason to go by itself. I got the bandeja paisa and thoroughly enjoyed all of it

Pio is one of our absolute favorite restaurants! The food is consistently savory, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying—everything tastes fresh and perfectly seasoned. The service is just as great as the food: warm, friendly, and welcoming every single time. We’re regulars because we know we’ll always have a great experience, whether it’s a quick meal or a sit-down visit. Pio never disappoints, and we’ll definitely keep coming back!

Pio Pio is one of the best places to get some good food! I had the Montanero which is similar to a Columbian plate called bandeja paisa. It was a lot of food and I couldn’t finish all, can definitely be split between 2 people. As an appetizer I had the tostones and guacamole and that itself could have been a meal. The tostones are my favorite, crunchy on the outside and soft in between perfect for the guacamole dip. They had different options for drinks like Inca Kola and Columbiana. The place is small but very nice and clean. The atmosphere is casual and I like that they play merengue and salsa music. They also have some nice murals to look at inside. I’d say it is kid friendly being that it’s casual and I saw two couples come in with toddlers. There is outdoor seating along the front of the restaurant if you prefer being outside. The server was nice and so were the ladies that brought out our food. Overall, great experience!

My husband said he wanted to try Pio chicken and I was like ok guess I’m on a diet tonight…however the food was really good, somehow it tasted homemade. Everything was made just right, the yellow rice, the plantains, the fried squid, the tacos, the smoke sausage…I can’t believe we actually finished everything. Two thumbs up Pio Pio!

First time ordering something from here besides fries. I got the 1/2 chicken plate. The skin had good flavor, but was soggy. One piece of chicken was very dry and the other looked a bit undercooked/pinkish (did not risk eating the pinkish one). However, the beans and fries were yummy and all the food was nice and hot.

First time here and it was great! Friendly service, great food overall cute spot.
We had the garlic shrimp as an appetizer and they were a little too oily but had a great taste and the fresh tostones were also delicious.
We had the chaufa rice with shrimp and chicken good flavor and the plantains gave it a nice sweet touch. The sauces were so goood!! I love spicy one sooo flavorful!

Food is amazing! We love it here and tell all our friends about this place.
Service is good, but today something very uncomfortable happened to me and my small children. Our waiter greeted us well, but as we were walking to our take, I look back and the waiter picked my 5 year old off the floor and hugged her, like she was her godmother or part of our family, a very tight hug. It was off putting to say the least, because I teach my kid about stranger safety and even though I believe this was a cultural thing that is probably normal for the waiter, it was not normal for us and afterwords my daughter kept asking why she did that and she felt scared of her since she was a stranger.
Again, I asked her to not do that again in a very nice manner, I did not disrespect the waiter bc I believe she did not mean any harm, but nowadays, we never know and parents need to be extra careful with little ones. Had I been the wrong parent, this could have ended badly. Anyhow. The place is amazing, food is delicious and owners are incredible, however I think this should be addressed because it was very very uncomfortable for me, my daughter and my son who also questions why she was hugging his little sister.

Authentic cuisine with excellent value. We ordered the Latin combo, mango juice, sweet tea, and garlic shrimp. Our server noted my husband is not supposed to eat pork for his health and pointed out items he asked for would not be best for him, which I really appreciated. We will be back!

Delicious! Have not tried Peruvian food before and found this place on Google. 1st pic is beef empanadas $3 USD each. 2nd pic is breaded chicken breast with rice, beans and plantains for $16 USD. 3rd pic is grilled pork chops with rice, beans and plantains for $16 USD. Service and food excellent. Recommend!
