Very unique concept with equally unique flavors. Very nice and awesome staff as well.
We tried a few rolls plus a few pieces of nigiri from here and brought it home to enjoy. They were made to order and the ingredients tasted fresh.
The rolls had a unique twist to each and were delicious. Nigiri sushi was really good as well. Another huge plus is fresh wasabi to go with your order, which can’t be said of most sushi restaurants.
Great food with great people. Would definitely be back for take-out sushi!

I have enjoyed their sushi so much and their quality never wavers. The Chef takes the time to get legit ingredients from Japan like Longtooth Grouper and often utilizes ingredients like shiso leaf that I wasn’t aware that I needed in my life. I also have ordered both at their storefront location and online. Both times the sushi was amazing. I did notice when I was there how much sushi they were cranking out (both dine-in/dine-out). It was ridiculous so if there is a wait be patient. It is sooooo worth it! AND best of all if you are vegan their sushi is 100% vegan. You also can go to the market inside the same mall and find some of those vegan fishy substitutes in the frozen section.

Omakase To Go service was outstanding! These rolls were made to perfection! Each roll had a unique flavor! These precious rolls had my taste buds going! I love to eat Hobo. I love Hobos. Uggh…, I love to eat Hobo Sushi?! None of this sounds right; but once I had a taste of Omakase to Go’s (OK2G) roll with Hobo fish inside I was hooked (hehe, hooked, see what I did there?!). But for serious, to say Chef Tran has hit a home run is an understatement; not only are the unique rolls a variable work on art (seriously, check out his insta!) they are unique and delicious riffs on a typical roll in all the right ways. Tran sources his fish fresh from all around the world, but has his own bi-weekly delivery from the mecca of fresh fish, Tsukiji Market in Tokyo. This affords customers some of the highest quality fish that you would otherwise have to seek out at establishments like Tei-An, Masami, or Yutaka.
Let me be very clear, Tran knows what he is doing when he mixes these flavors, you should trust the jedi master to his craft. While there are items a la carte, the best option is to pre-order the “Omakase to Go” offerings. These include off menu items, and whatever fish has been flown in during that season. Do not expect a “rainbow roll” or a “california roll” these things come straight from the mind of the master – be open to new options and you will be rewarded. While I could wax poetic on how impressed I was there are a few notes I should highlight… 1. For those of you in the city, OK2G is located in Grand Prairie, so it’s a bit of a drive. 2. If you are ordering the sampler, you need to order at least a day in advance. 3. Ask about the fish and the rolls, you’ll learn something about the food you are about to eat. 4. Sushi is great for breakfast.

This has got to be the BEST sushi in DFW!! I have ordered several vegan platters from Omakase To Go and not once have I ever been dissatisfied. The service is phenomenal and the sushi is an explosion of flavors. Excited to see what the new location has to offer, I definitely know Omakase To Go will not disappoint. Top favorite vegan rolls: Fuego (Taki), Caterpillar, Firecracker, Green Dragon.

So happy to find a place with several vegan options. I tried the Vegan classic crunch roll and the Vegan Firecracker and they were delicious. I placed my order online, they called me when my order was ready so I could come in and pick it up. What a great service. Tip: It is located inside the food court. I was so hungry I forgot to take pics of the food but I will be going back for more soon so I will update then.

Hands down the BEST sushi! My entire family loves it. Make sure you order a LOT because trust me, you will eat so much! I can consume my body weight in their delicious rolls. Their vegan rolls are the best I’ve tasted. They are so creative and the flavor is amazing. My daughter and I have eaten 10 rolls…by ourselves…in ONE SITTING. I promise you won’t regret it. They have amazing customer service, and are super sweet. 10 stars for service, taste, quality, and just being overall fantastic!

The sushi is unparalleled, especially in the vegan realm. We have ordered just about every kind of roll off the vegan menu. They take care to not cross contaminate since they do have animal products in the kitchen. We make the trip from Dallas and it is always worth it!! The chef knows what they are doing and the guy working the front is super kind and personable. It is definitely worth visiting and getting hooked on!
