Oscar’s Fresh Mex is a legit taco spot and definitely worth a visit if you’re in the mood for something fast, flavorful, and satisfying.
I tried the carne asada taco, carnitas taco, and the three rolled beef tacos. The carne asada was the star of the show—super flavorful, juicy, and just overall delicious. The carnitas taco was also very good, just not quite as mind-blowing as the carne asada. The rolled tacos (taquito-style) were crunchy, topped with shredded lettuce and guac, and really hit the spot, especially after a quick trip to the salsa bar.
Speaking of the salsa bar—that’s a big plus. Multiple salsas, so you can tweak the heat and flavor to your liking. Some of the food really pops once you add the right salsa.
The only real letdown was the street corn. I was expecting classic elote-style and it turned out to be something different and just okay. Not terrible, just not something I’d order again.
My wife’s carne asada bowl was huge and packed with flavor—a great option if you’re hungry and want something more substantial than tacos.
Overall, I’d absolutely go back to Oscar’s Fresh Mex, especially to work my way through more of their taco options. If you go, start with anything carne asada, load up at the salsa bar, and you’ll be in good shape.

Love that this place opened up. And it’s nice it’s part of the Rosie restaurants. Wish they had other options for the rolled tacos but they were still delicious. The beef tacos were well seasoned and had a good portion of meat in them. Maybe make the “hot” salsa hotter? Would love to have some spice for my food. But overall would recommend very delicious.

3 Stars- The asada taco and fish taco were simply okay. The asada had almost no flavor or seasoning. The ingredients all tasted good and had good flavor. I would have liked more of a char on the asada as well. The fish was nicely fried, good ingredients again, but nothing special.
4 Stars – the birria taco was great. Crispy and packed with flavor. I would just get three of these! The bean and cheese burrito was not next level, but, the size was crazy and only for $1.99 on Wednesdays! Chips and salsa bar is self serve which is pretty neat too.
I will definitely be back for their daily specials and birria tacos!
3*** = Just Okay
4**** = Set themselves a part with quality food and I want to go back.
5*****= You have to go out of your way and make a special trip to try the deliciousness that is there!

We ordered 2 of the 4 tacos deals for less than $10.00 dollars each, I think these are very good tacos and come with all the fixings, it also comes with 2 drinks. The Carna Asada and Chicken Tacos were the ones we ordered. 10 out of 10 in my book.

Enjoyed our experience, food was hot and made to order. Salsa bar had a lot of options and places offered chips as a free option. Customer service was great, staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Good place to stop for a quick bite.

Went on a lunch date with my husband. We munched on the delicious salsas and chips whilst waiting for our food. All I can say is the tacos are good, their birria being the absolutely best. So delicious with $5 per taco I was enjoying it like it was candy!

I gave Oscars a 3 tonight because I do like their food. However, tonight our family asked what’s for dinner. We chose Oscars and my daughter and boyfriend took our list for a family of 5 to buy some food. I asked for Red sauce and a pack of Jalapeños to compliment my 2 burritos. When they returned with 50+ $$s of food. No sauce and no peppers. They asked for this 2x in the drive thru because they know how particular I am. I was upset. I know this sound petty but to me good hot sauce is the and peppers compliment the burrito and must happen. Im 15 mins away so I did not send them back. Im saying this because the drive through order takers may want to double check everything the customer requested is in the bag, especially for 50 bucks +++. Please pay attention. Im sure Im not the only one who has experienced this. Why it’s unfortunately happened to me before…

Definitely nice fresh, Mexican food, with good employees, the only issue I have is I noticed the morning cook skimps you on the burritos. I also got mine within 30 seconds after following two cars ahead of me. So, sure fast seems nice but rushing my food not so much. $13.50 for a burrito and it’s 2.5x smaller than any other Mexican restaurants that sell for around $8.50. I don’t think it’s worth coming to. I tried 6 times just to make sure it wasn’t me. But I don’t think it’s worth the value. Either that or have the night cook help him out because I don’t think I wanna eat half of my burrito being straight tortilla.
