I cannot believe it took me a year to try this place!! If you’re looking for a casual, yummy, take-out lunch, definitely give this place a go! Over the past month, I’ve tried the chicken teriyaki bowl and multiple sushi rolls. Everything is so delicious, so reasonably priced, and always ready to go within just a few minutes of ordering. The portion sizes are large and reasonable for what they cost, and the service is very quick and friendly. This has definitely become one of my staple lunch spots in the area!

Got the shrimp bento and it was yummy!
They’d swapped the ginger salad for steamed veggies without telling me however (thankfully I like both). They should let people know if they have to substitute something in your meal.
Pricing is pretty decent here.
Inside is just okay and basic, more of a takeout than dine in place.
Overall I’d order again.

Good value bento boxes for lunch.
For the past few weeks, I’ve ordered from Gifu multiple times to try all their bento boxes. Consisted of avocado rolls, fried dumplings, salad, and entrée over rice, the bento boxes were very well-balanced, and the portions were also great for the price. My favorites so far were the salmon and the chicken bento boxes, but most of the times, I had to rely on soy sauce to enhance the flavors as the entrées weren’t very flavorful. Nevertheless, I would probably order their bento boxes again whenever I’m craving for something filling and satisfying for lunch.

I wish the owner could see this – in your bento, the edges of the cabbages were dark and dirty. Please have better control over your food safety!
