Fun spot! Food could use some improvement, but it’s good for bar food. Bar was slammed and short handed, so getting food was slow. But, overall the atmosphere in there is great. Amazing whiskey selection. Friendly and great bartenders.

This place was a total surprise! Our friend had always wanted to stop so that Thursday, we did! The bartender (Christina?) was friendly, & the bar was large & spacious. I never would have gotten that from looking at the outside. Only comment I have is my husb. ord’d a Malibu & Coke. They didn’t have Malibu, so she gave him Dolphin (?) rum. He thought it tasted funny, so he asked if she put diet soda in it. That’s when she told him it wasn’t Malibu. He wasn’t upset, BUT I firmly believe if you don’t have what the guest wants, tell them up front & THEN offer other options. Don’t make the choice for them. They may want to order something else. All in all, a good experience & we’ll be back!

What a great bar to hang out at, watch sports, play sims like golf and others, and just generally chill. Neat vibe. Tons of whisky. Amazing bartender handled the entire room and was kind, fun and helpful. Dogs running around made it feel familial and it gave off a small town vibe that was tons of fun. Food was typical barfood but everything else was above average for what you’d expect. Worth a visit if you’re passing through like I was. I can see the local charm and I loved it.

I am new to Pensacola, but I learned about the Whiskey Barrel through Cost Plus Liquors. This place is amazing! 3 pool tables, cigar sales, a golf simulator, and the “Whiskey Wall” that offers you a chance to sample some “unicorn” Bourbons at a very decent price. Tonight, we attended a steak and Bourbon tasting event that was absolutely spectacular!

Order steak and it was horrible. Mashed potatoes were overcooked. Steak was kinda dry and I hate that the steak I had to eat in takeout box and plastic silverware. Order a glass of red wine and had to clean the glass. Still had some lips stains. I like the interior! I will come again just maybe for a drink, not for a food.

I actually really love the bartender when i’m sober. Apparently I dont like her when i’m drunk because she does not hesitate to cut me off. I respect it though. She’s a great asset to this business. I will keep coming back if her and my husband allow it.
