If you are in or near Winchester, KY looking for authentic, made to order Mexican Cuisine then this is a must stop. The ambiance is very warm and welcoming, lots of seating, big screens, bar, family friendly and plenty of parking as they are located in a strip mall. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. There is something here for everyone as they have a large selection for sit down or delivery.

The food was okay, and the service was good. But that salsa? Seriously bland, like watery tomato sauce. Portions were massive, but my dish was burnt and boring. Heads up: drinks are $12 each!

I’ve been going back and forth between writing this because we used to love this place so much sometimes we would go for both lunch and dinner, but last Saturday when we went, the service was great but the salsa was bland, my steak was gummy and cold, no flavor, and my boyfriend was violently ill for 48 hours after eating his meal and that has never happened before. I even started feeling sick after eating my leftovers the next morning. (I didn’t get to eat much the night before but didn’t want to waste it). Sad because we used to love this place but I don’t think we’ll be back anytime soon.

Recently visited with husband and daughters. First off, the salsa is super bland and watery. The chips were stale. Hubby wanted to try a dish from the menu that clearly displays shrimp however, the server said it only comes with beef or chicken. That was a little disapointing but not devastating. They instead ordered something else, a Jalisco. The bottom was burned, the chicken was dry and tasteless, the beef tasted old and chewy. I odered the Texas Burger and the buns tasted leathery as if they’s been heated in the microwave. Also, as expensive as our drinks(Ale8) were, you’d think our server would’ve at least asked if we needed refills. Overall, we weren’t impressed with the food, service, atmosphere nor, were we satisfied with the price for the drinks. Sadly, this establishment is a miss for us. 2/10

The food was amazing in the serving sizes were enormous! Got the El pastor quesadilla which was amazing and a chimichanga! Got two and almost a half meals out of our individual meals! It was wonderful! Service was great atmosphere is great absolutely beautiful decor! Going to head back there one of these days to do their margarita flight!

It was our second time here and both times we sat in the bar where the acoustics are a little undesirable and louder than the dining room. Tonight was a busy night so we were prepared to wait for service/food, but both were delivered in a timely manner.
I ordered the carnitas burrito and it was very good but came without rice & beans. I was also quite disappointed in the guacamole appetizer which looked like a paste squeezed from a tube – definitely not fresh or what it looks like on the menu. However, the portion sizes are huge (as was the beer) and the prices were cheaper than we’ve seen anywhere else.
Since the restaurant is in a shopping center, parking was not an issue and even though they were busy we were seated fairly quickly. If/when we come again we will ask to sit in the dining room and will not be ordering the guac app. 4 out of 5 stars.

We stopped in for an order of queso and chips to go. Online the price read $4.99. When we went in to pay, it was $8.35. As if the price wasn’t enough of a shock, the container of queso was about 3 sizes too small for the price. No way it is the same amount they serve if you eat in. It could easily fit in a toddlers hand! Had I known, I wouldn’t have paid over $2 for it! This was the first and last time I order from there.
