Food is absolutely delicious and lives up to their reputation. I enjoyed the Brie and caramelized onion croissant sandwich very much. My iced maple latte was good, but I couldn’t taste any maple in it, more like a plain latte. Still yummy though.

Service was a bit slow but the team was working hard so it appears they may be understaffed. My coffee took over ten mins to come out but I wasn’t in a hurry so not a big worry on my end but something to remember that this isn’t a great option if you’re in a hurry or want a quick coffee to go.

Additionally, the tables were not cleared well. I had to wipe down the chairs and table I chose from the previous occupants’ croissants (hey they’re flakey, I get it!) but the floor was covered in crumbs and food as well, and the tables were very sticky. Another issue that probably can be solved with more staffing, and I don’t hold it against them.

All in all, delicious! And the team was kind and attentive so I hope they get the help they need soon.

This place was absolutely amazing. We couldn’t find it at first, but you enter through a gate and there is pretty garden. The food was wonderful and the aesthetic is 10/10!!

I ordered the Nordic breakfast sandwich which is essentially a croissant with salmon, eggs, greens and mustard. It wasn’t mind blowing flavorful but it was good. I also ordered the peanut butter and jelly macaroon.

Overall I recommend the spot for a good last minute light bite. The sandwich and macaroon cost $18 and it was not very big. The value for the price I paid was poor. But it is a nice restaurant that seems to be carved from an old home with lots of treats to buy. Very French.

The brie/onion/arugula/egg criossant is actually magnificent! If I have a breakfast sandwich and it’s not THIS, I don’t want it! I ate this thing saying Mmmm….MMM! the whole time!

I had to deduct a star for the moist yet dry croissant bread pudding. It needed syrup, more sugar, and def more cinnamon! It was like a boring brick of carbs. Also I love matcha but there’s had awful reviews so that’s a pity. Just get the criossant!

If you’re looking for some of the best French-style baguettes and croissants in Chicago, La Boulangerie & Co Logan in Logan Square is a spot worth visiting.
From the moment you walk in, the smell of freshly baked bread fills the space. Their baguettes have that perfect golden crust with a satisfying crunch when you break into them, while the inside stays soft, airy, and slightly chewy. They’re the kind of baguette that doesn’t even need anything on it — though it pairs beautifully with butter, jam, or cheese.
The croissants are just as impressive. Light, flaky, and deeply buttery, they pull apart in delicate layers and practically melt in your mouth. Whether you go for a classic butter croissant, chocolate, or almond, each one feels thoughtfully made and beautifully balanced — rich but never heavy.
The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, making it an easy stop for a slow morning coffee or a quick pastry on the go. You don’t need a passport to enjoy truly French-style baking — you just need a stop at La Boulangerie in Logan Square.

Fun atmosphere and great to see fresh croissants cooking on display! I came for for the viral Cookie Croissant which did NOT disappoint. Flaky outside, gooey cookie inside. We pre-ordered as suggested and are glad we did! But of course we had to try more while there. My second favorite was the Kouign Amann Croissant. They described it like a pretzel from the mall but as a croissant and I agree! It was super super buttery and delicious. The Coconut Rocher was fun but just SO much pure coconut. Last, the Lemon Meringue Pie was pretty great but didn’t compare in my opinion to the croissants, the star of the show!

I really want to love this place because the food is so delicious and they have an interesting menu.

But it’s the slowest cafe in Chicago. I don’t think it’s the fault of the staff, it seems like they juggle too much. There’s someone trying to take orders and make coffee, someone else trying to make baked goods and also coffee’s and then these same people also take the drinks out to customers.

The end result, a simple 2 drink order takes 10-15 mins. This has happened to me multiple times.

You guys either need more staff or a different workflow.

Amazing authentic French bakery. The lamination on the ham and cheese croissant was unreal. It was so good. There’s plenty of indoor seating but I could imagine it would be lovely in the summer with the garden. Quality matches the price.

Cute little spot to have coffee, pastries & more! They have these giant croissants that are just too pretty to eat. These are probably my new favorite croissants. The pistachio & Nutella were amazing! I have yet to try raspberry & creme brûlée. They have a seating area inside and also a cute patio area.

This bakery is on the pricier side but the atmosphere and seating areas are very elegant and suitable for a meet up with friends. The pastries are freshly baked and have that gourmet French bakery feeling.
Not a place I would go every day but definitely a fun hangout spot
