Writing this review from the groom’s perspective, I can honestly say The Terrace at Delaware Park was the perfect venue for our reception. We were aiming for a specific vibe: understated classiness that felt refined, but still fun and approachable. We didn’t want a stuffy environment where people felt like they couldn’t get on the dance floor, and The Terrace struck that balance perfectly.
The setting is unmatched, with amazing views of the lake and the surrounding museums, providing a beautiful backdrop that feels distinctly Buffalo. The staff was absolutely fantastic; from the wedding coordinator to the servers and bartenders, everyone was friendly and eager to help. We even had a live band, which the venue accommodated seamlessly. If you want a wedding that looks elegant but feels like a great party, this is the spot.

We’re late writing this, but we can’t say enough good things about the Terrace at Delaware Park. We got married on 9/27/25, and the food, service and atmosphere were amazing. Kristina was absolutely fabulous, helping us every step of the way. Thank you so much to Kristina and everyone at the Terrace for making our dream wedding come true! We highly recommend!

We held our son and future daughter in law’s rehearsal dinner for 40 people at The Terrace on October 10, 2025. The staff took such care in decorating our private space so that it looked beautiful when we arrived. The food was delicious and the staff were attentive and kind. We received so many compliments on the event from our guests. We highly recommend this venue for your celebrations!

This was a perfect evening. The service was outstanding, Jess, Joe, Liam, Nile, Kio, they were all amazing friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. If any were having a “bad day” it did not show. The atmosphere was festive and welcoming. The food was perfectly prepared. I had the Scampi and my husband had the Steak Frites (medium rare, perfect). The scampi had a good portion of seafood to pasta and just a little heat that brought out all the flavors.
Our drinks looked beautiful and tasted even better. My husband had the Manhattan (neat) and I had the Papillon Violet (commonly known as “the purple one”) it was exquisite.
We finished the evening with an Affogato and a Terrace coffee – which both fulfilled this coffee lover’s dream.

Can’t say enough about how great my son & daughter in-laws wedding was at The Terrace. Everything was just fantastic and beautiful!
The food was amazing. The filet mignon that the majority of us all had was fantastic & the best steak so many of us have ever had.
I even made a point to compliment the chef!!
The staff was awesome, from dealing with Kristina the director of special events to the wait staff, the bartenders & the chef & kitchen staff – everyone was great.
It was a beautiful wedding a special day we will all cherish ♥️

Had a lovely evening from start to finish! The first person we encountered genuinely welcomed us to the restaurant and took our coats. She was so warm and friendly, and a great first face to have at the door. We were seated not far from a gentleman expertly playing piano which added to the ambiance. The whole restaurant was decorated for Valentine’s Day, complete with red and pink napkins, and mood lighting. Drinks were great, food was decadent and the portions were generous. Service was friendly.
Most importantly, and I cannot express this enough, we were not rushed. We were given plenty of time between each and every course. All in all, we spent 2 hours enjoying one another and every single course. I’ve never encountered such a relaxed atmosphere centered around the companionship and intimacy that should coincide with a shared meal. During our time there, we only saw one table rotate customer groups. I never felt like there was someone else waiting for my table. I was treated like a welcomed guest from the time I walked in the door until I left, and sincerely invited back.

We went to The Terrace for brunch the morning after our wedding on October 31, and it was fabulous. Their brunch options are truly some of the best in Buffalo. It ended up being a beautiful day for a post-wedding brunch with our family, and the setting made it even better. Our waitress, Ellie, was wonderful and even had my father’s birthday cake cut and served for us after we finished eating. We will definitely be back for brunch again, and we cannot wait to sit out on the terrace in the summer.

We had a lovely dinner celebrating my daughter’s birthday. The food was excellent although I felt my Mojito was a bit weak with the spirits. Beautiful atmosphere overlooking the pond in Delaware Park. Service was great but they looked understaffed for the evening and took extra time to get our appetizers. More for a mature meal. Planning to return to experience their Brunch.

My husband and I got married at The Terrace this past October, and it was magical. The views were breathtaking, the fall atmosphere was perfect, and every detail ran flawlessly thanks to the incredible team at the Terrace —especially our amazing coordinator, Tina who went above and beyond. From cocktail hour to dinner and dancing, everything was beautiful and looked stunning. Our guests are still raving about the food, and the staff accommodated every request. The Terrace will forever hold a special place in our hearts and we’ll return for anniversaries and memories for years to come
