The interior of this restaurant is a 180 from the building exterior (obviously a former steak house?). The lavender-colored interior with led accent lighting made for a very relaxing visit. Nicely appointed table and seating sets it aside from most Asian style venues.

I was seated and waited upon within minutes.. ordering the fried, cream cheese wontons as an appetizer. I have only had deep-fried Pork Belly one other time at a different location and it was not very good. So I wanted to try it here and see if it would be better.

Not disappointed.. the pork belly was crisp and full of flavor! I upgraded to the fried rice with egg (which turned out to be a pricey upgrade, and not really worth the added cost). My bill was over $25, and had only water as a drink.

I left with a very full stomach and Happy thoughts.. I’ll probably be back for seconds.

First Time Trying Filipino Cuisine – Amazing Experience!

This was my first time enjoying Filipino food, and J’s Kitchen did not disappoint! We had the lumpia, cheese wontons, and loaded dumplings to start—all bursting with flavor. For our main dishes, we tried the fried pork belly and chicken adobo. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.

Even though we arrived just before closing, the staff welcomed us warmly and were more than happy to prepare a fresh, delicious meal. Their hospitality and the quality of the food made this a truly memorable experience.

Highly recommend this place! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

My husband and I came here to try their brunch; it was my first time coming here at all. We ordered all three Filipino breakfast options, plus the fresh Lumpia, juice and macarons. Our experience was incredible and, although we ordered a lot just to try the different dishes, it was an affordable brunch experience. Our waitress was amazing and helpful in suggesting items. I can’t wait to come back and try lunch/dinner in the future. So glad they’re here! A definite must-try spot.

This was my first time visiting this establishment. A lot of non-chain restaurants have a personal, homey, decorative feel to it. They all have really nice interiors that you wouldn’t expect from the outside. We came here for lunch. Being Filipina, I was excited to visit here and bring my colleagues. I was surprised to see the vast variety of foods and drinks they sell. I would come back and try another one of their authentic dishes on another day. Everyone’s take on filipino foods slightly differ. I shared my plate with a friend, and they liked it.

Super friendly and fantastic service. Their food is amazing, delicious and authentic. Good balance between protein and rice. The best part is it is very affordable.

If you are up for trying out their secret menu.. definitely recommend to try their Filipino veggie and pork sour soup (Sinigang). It is not on the menus but if you ask the owner politely, she will cook it up for you.

I took my mother to J’s Kitchen for her birthday because we had never eaten there. I had stopped in once to get a Boba drink to go and had also seen a video about the Sunday buffet. The menu was a little more limited than I expected but they do offer some good Filipino options. What we ordered tasted good. The garlic rice is popular and had just enough garlic flavor without being too strong. My favorite Filipino food item is lumpia and they have a few options to choose from. The fried rice had nice large chunks of egg, which made it the best I’ve had anywhere, especially since most restaurants are very skimpy with the egg in it these days. The service by Brandon was excellent. He is a manager and server who is very friendly and personable. We need to go back on a Sunday to try the buffet!

I have visited here several times now and gotten to go in order to give the most thorough review possible. As soon as I walked in I knew this was a Filipino restaurant due to the decor, a lovely shade of ube. The food is fantastic. The boba is really good as well. The honeydew blended drink was cold and tasted like melted honeydew ice cream. They use jasmine rice. All of their dishes have been approved by a native Filipina. Great brunch on Sunday as well.

I’ve been to J’s Kitchen many times to get boba and lunch. As it relates to boba, they have many different flavors and additions you can choose from. The service was fast, and the employees were really nice. They also have some really nice decoration around the holiday season.

The Chef and staff are so attentive. And the food so hits the spot when you want that authentic Filipino food you grew on. Down to the sawsawan (Filipino dipping sauce) ❤️ ❤️. Love, love, love.

(Don’t forget to ask for the eggs when ordering their yummy tocino!)

This place is underrated. I wish we would have came here sooner. The food is authentically Filipino and enjoyed it. The pork belly didn’t last long at all. The spaghetti was good, definitely taste of the Philippines. The caldereta was very different to my taste and a little salty but still definitely good.

I highly recommend this place for those who wants to have a little taste of the Philippines and even those Filipinoes that’s tired of cooking at home. This is the perfect place.

The prices are good and on par with inflation. Support our local community and help this restaurant grow!
