The Switch Inn established in 1874 was one of several railroad hotels that was built by the Erie Railroad Station. We are the oldest operating bar/restaurant in Orange County and we make it our priority to treat our community, employees and our customers like they are family.

Friendly staff and customers upon entering. Second time here and food was delicious again!! No bees this time around, so didn’t get to feed our friends. Sam was a superior hostess. Including all in my party and providing insight into dish choices. This has officially become our pit stop whenever traveling in the area. Love the option of a private outdoor seating area. Food was so good, I didnt take starting pics. Tried various foods from the menu and happy with each one!

Nice classic dive bar. My wife and I had a young blond bartender who was incredibly friendly and attentive. Food came quick and was tasty. Also parking in back is always a plus on Main Street. 10/10 would drink there again.

Bartenders Ellie and Jess were amazing and sweet. Hope they stay there especially after last Thursday. I was there with my fiancé having a drink and suddenly a fight between two girls broke out and eventually involved a few other individuals and one even got hit in the face by them. This happened three times. Bartenders took action and called the police (good for them) but sadly the police took their time and showed up after the fight…, I feel the owners should hire actual security to ensure this doesn’t happen as likely cause I’ve heard the weekend crowd is terrible there and fights break out often as well and I would like to come here again. I’m not sure what they expect two bartenders to do without putting themselves at risk and no back up unless a patron wants to step up and help . Having professional security will ensure everyone’s safety including the status of the business cause if these fights continue I can only imagine how long the switch will last.

Outta town for work me and another colleague went to get drinks and food. When we said split the tab they literally took our total tab and cut it in half so he paid for my drinks and I paid for his meal. When we questioned it we were told we didn’t tell them to itemize it so we were stuck paying for what we each didn’t pay for. If I would have known that from the start maybe I wouldn’t have been so polite.

The Switch Inn was an awesome experience. Our party of 6 went on a Sunday for brunch and it was a great time. The bottomless mimosas and screwdrivers were good. Jessica, our server, was the best! Very attentive and social. She’s an awesome person. Overall, this is a superb place that must be visited more often. Great job

My best friend and I decided to check this place out a few weeks ago and we will definitely not be back. Why were the bartenders having shots with certain customers. Definitely not professional at all. I also felt like they over charged us but honestly we were so unhappy with the service we just paid the bill and left. I had to write a review after hearing that this place had a shooting which is crazy since they are down the block from a prison. Save your money and go someplace else where it’s safer and better service.
