I was surprised to find out about Rod’s. For 30 years, I have been coming to Havre and never knew of this place. I was glad to see a non chain drive-in and decided to try the porkchop sandwich with fries. I wondered how it would be prepared, and it turned out to be a breaded pock cutlet with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and mustard. I was very happy with the sandwich and found it quite tasty. The fries were average, but next time, I will try the curly fries. I will now travel further down 5th Ave when I visit Havre.

This is a great, old fashioned burger drive-thru with some seating inside, everything is freshly prepared, hot and delicious! Usually, I get an ugly burger (iIf you haven’t had an ugly burger, you have to try an ugly burger!) but today I went for just a hot dog.. old-fashioned, red and absolutely delicious, just like I remember for my childhood. Order tater tots on the side to diet Pepsi, perfect.

I used to live across the street in the white house as a kid. I grew up eating at Rod’s. Even now living 6 hours away, I make a trip to Havre at least once a year and eat here. The ugly burger has changed packaging over the years but the food remains as delicious as ever. Considering that I am almost 40, that should tell you just how long they have been around!

Absolutely the very best burger ever (ugly burger) fast didn’t wait long. Two lanes flow up to window, not jumbled mess as some are. Workers were very friendly an on the ball easy to understand. Got all food correct first time an was larger order. Soda pops also defi4 etly worth coming back for. This is the place when u move away, u Always make sure an come back to eat whenever in town. This place use to be something to brag about growing up. $4 for a fountain pop in a cup filled 3/4 up with ice is simply insane. Order of onion rings is $6. That gets you 6-8 rings in an order. Ugly burger is still decent but again super expensive. Now they want money for the what use to be complimentary sauces. Save yourself a trip unless money isn’t an issue for fast food.

The food is fabulous! Prices are very affordable! Rod’s is usually quite busy. The staff are able to move people through the lines rather quickly The milkshakes are delicious and come in unusual cups which are well insulated so drinks stay cold. Staff has always been very friendly.
