This was my first time here. Service was great, refilled my coffee quickly. The omelet was perfectly cooked. For me the star of the show was the scrapple, possibly the best I’ve ever had and I’ve been eating it for as long as I can remember. Edit: Came again 08/25 and had the country fried steak. Highly recommended.

Went here for the first time for breakfast and ordered the waffle combo. Everything was hot and fresh. Friendly service and clean.

Rise and Grind is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots! The southern modern vibe makes it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal.
Noah, who many may know from Rick’s, is working magic in the kitchen the food is flavorful, fresh, and crafted with real care. On the floor, the service is just as impressive. Willie, even as the busser, went above and beyond with outstanding customer service. It’s rare to see that kind of effort and genuine kindness, and it made the experience feel even more welcoming.
It was also awesome to see Kristy here from Rick’s, bringing that same friendly energy, and Kate is another fantastic option to connect with always attentive and personable.
Overall, Rise and Grind nails it with delicious food, amazing service, and a warm southern modern atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I’ve been dining at this restaurant for many years prior to it becoming Rise and Grind and originally “Linda’s”. It’s been a 5 star for me but today I will not rate it at 5 but 3. As a known Food Critic I do my best to try everything on the menu and am huge on taste. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits for the first time and the presentation was pretty good but the taste was extremely off… The grits were not hot and the shrimp and Cajun sauce were definitely sour. As you can see from my photos I barely touched it. I did inform the waitress Ashley who was pretty sweet and she informed her supervisor who told her that he tasted it himself and it was good and that they would not remove it off my bill. They did however allow me to pick something else off the menu for the same price of $12.99. I love sharing my experiences with others in hopes that it’s helpful.

Went to this spot because I have 2 friends that work there. This place is located in St. Lucie West and this spot is nice, clean, and spacious‼️ I believe if this place gets packed, the parking may be a bit difficult, but nevertheless, you can work it out. The is Military Veteran based, which is AWESOME because I’m a Military Veteran as well. The staff is friendly, the food is great and mimosas are nice‼️If you’re ever in the Port St. Lucie area, check this place out‼️

Super attentive service and all the staff were super friendly always asking if I wanted to top off my coffee. Unfortunately, the coffee was so weak that after one cup I didn’t want anymore. The fish & chips, pictured, was delicious, according to my wife but I’m not sure if it was a fresh or frozen item. The burger was ordered rare but was a hard medium at best, dry, and unseasoned. Seemed like it was pressed while cooking, a big no no as that will dry it out or maybe the grill / griddle was not hot enough to get a flavorful sear. Fries were hot and fresh.

(In response to Ms.Watler’s review/rant of Feb. 15, 2026.) First off, I don’t work there, but I did witness first-hand the entire incident that day as a front row customer. Really lady, get off your high horse! The total time that passed from you placing your order until the time you demanded your refund was 18 minutes! And when you had entered the front door, and as I stood by that door waiting for a table, I heard and saw that the greeter had told you where to place your to-go order, AFTER she had already told you it would be awhile since the restaurant was completely packed. Which you should have already known since you had to pass all of us who were waiting to be seated and lined up both inside and outside of the front door. But NO, you and your party of 6 all stroll up to the front, place your orders, and then you get loud and indignant when the entire place doesn’t come to a dead stop to immediately fulfill your order. Let the entire restaurant and everyone waiting patiently be damned as Her Majesty awaits being served. Also, if you want anyone to actually believe your reviews in the future, they shouldn’t contain any claims that are demonstrably false, as the staff there is diverse; some whites, some hispanics, some blacks, etc. And their customers are all the colors of the rainbow also. Furthermore, your insinuation that you were discriminated against in some fashion due to your race is ridiculous at face value. Your entire complaint was completely based on your dissatisfaction with the fact that you were being treated EXACTLY THE SAME as everyone else who was there at the time. Yet you had to wait too, along with the rest of us. Too bad, so sad. [BTW: After reading all of her 18 google reviews, it becomes apparent that waiting isn’t her strong point.]

Moved to Port St. Lucie about a year and a half ago and tried several breakfast spots – this was one of the places we kept coming back to because the food is good.
Unfortunately, the service experience has not matched the quality of the food. While staff are generally attentive, the atmosphere often feels unwelcoming. Despite visiting many times, we’re rarely greeted or acknowledged as returning customers, which gives the impression that regulars – especially younger ones – aren’t valued.
There have also been a couple of uncomfortable interactions: one staff member made a comment about my appearance (“you skinny devil”), and the tone at the front desk can feel dismissive rather than friendly.
On a positive note, the gentleman who clears tables consistently acknowledges guests and makes people feel seen – he’s a standout and a real asset to the team.
We hope this feedback is taken constructively, because a warm, personal welcome would make a significant difference to the overall experience.

We love this place. Part of the reason we love this place is because they have a few outdoor tables. I don’t tolerate cold very well and we usually choose to sit outdoors. If you are going to allow outdoor seating then make sure you have staff to take care of these tables. We’ve been told several times with outdoor seating it could take a little longer. Today nothing was said. We waited outside for 20 min today with no service at all. Unfortunately we won’t be back. Too many times with the same result.

The food was reasonably priced but lacked flavor. The buffalo chicken wrap was just mid at best. The chili was dry and flavorless. The service was poor, with our waitress neglecting to check on us. I wouldn’t come here again.
