Reviews
We truly appreciated their kindness and extra effort. All 132 attendees thoroughly enjoyed the food, and if we could give more than a 5-star review, we absolutely would! The food was delicious, everything was delivered on time, and the service was outstanding. We will definitely consider this restaurant for future lunch lectures and highly recommend others to cater from here.
1. If you’re ordering during busy dinner hours, it may be faster to just order in person and wait in line rather than placing an online order.
2. Want to give a shoutout to the staff working—they were clearly hustling and doing their best during a very busy period. It seemed like the restaurant could really benefit from more staff during peak hours.
3. One issue that was disappointing: I observed the seasoned rice being placed on the same griddle shortly after meat was cooked on it. As a vegetarian, this meant I wasn’t comfortable eating the meal and didn’t want to wait longer for it to be remade.
4. The small sauces included with the chips for to-go orders appeared to be taken from the open self-serve sauce bar in the dining area, which felt a bit questionable from a food handling standpoint.
Overall, the staff were working hard, but there seem to be operational issues during peak hours that made the experience very frustrating….
I eventually contacted one of the owners, Ken, who resolved the issue, but the situation should never have required escalation. What should have been a simple 15‑minute order turned into an hour-long delay due to the employees’ unwillingness to remake the order. Unfortunately, I will not be ordering from this location again.
Went to get sauces for our food and multiple cold shams were just sitting there empty caked with old crusty salsa. Our chips were stale to the point we couldnt even eat them, and our food was freezing cold.
With a chipotle coming in to neil street near them they better step up there game, or there going to go out of business
-app to earn rewards points
-queso tastes good
Cons:
-many of the employees don’t listen when asking for small amounts of ingredients even if you ask them verbally at the time of making the bowl. They will pile it on anyway (see example photo of jalapeños. Asked for just a few “just 2 or 3 please” and received a pile and the spices and juice got all over the meal by the time I got home)
-this place has needed a deep cleaning for years. It always has a sticky and grimy feel to it. The floor always has a slippery feel to it even when dry.
-the chips can sometimes have almost no salt and be extremely bland or stale. It’s hit or miss.
-“stack” item is often overcooked (see photos) or undercooked
-the tortilla press needs replacing it looks old and grimy
-the grill needs to be replaced it is very dirty
