On recent road trip, my current side chick spotted a Whataburger sign at the Pilot truck stop. We could smell the burgers and fries cooking from the highway, she had never been to Whataburger before, and since it was her birthday, we decided to give it a try. The outside of the building is very nice and clean, it almost seemed to be inviting us in to enjoy a cozy, comforting meal. Once inside the door, we were greeted by smiling, happy waitstaff that promptly took our order. The moment the wrapped Whataburger cheeseburgers were placed on the tray before us, the aroma of a perfectly grilled patty mingled with the sweet, toasted scent of the bun, promised a classic, satisfying burger experience, with each bite. Unwrapping it revealed a towering cheeseburger stacked high with fresh lettuce, a thick slice of tomato, and onions, all held together by a pliable, slightly squishy bun. With the first bite, the juicy, savory flavor of the patty, seasoned perfectly with salt and pepper, paired well with the creamy American cheese and condiments. Alongside the burger, the fries offered their own delight, each one golden and perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy within, and delivering a satisfying salty crunch. It was a nice fast-food experience, but with a freshness and size that made it clear why Whataburger is a legendary burger. For dessert we shared a soft, gooey fudge brownie with a solitary lighted birthday candle strategically placed in the middle of it. My side chick had a wonderful and memorable birthday experience at Whataburger, we will return here again to explore more of the menu options available. Best of all this location is open 24 hours, how convenient is that???

Jeff was a superstar! He was gracious to clarify my order, and when I mentioned I would be sharing a medium Dr Pepper Blackberry shake with my husband, he gave me a small shake for free! Order was correct and other food was delicious as well. Super clean and inviting dining area! We went on a Saturday around 11:30am.

Great Whataburger food. Great Whataburger service. Mr Alvin was very friendly and funny with our messy toddlers. Overall doing a great job for the Whataburger brand at the Paige, TX location in the Pilot Truckstop.

Had to wait 5 mins for my food in the drive thru. Get my food and leave when I get to open the good a few minutes later, instead of the sausage biscuit I asked for I received a chicken biscuit. I understand they sound so similar, but I don’t understand not giving me a fork, receipt, or napkins.

Went to order a coffee and sausage biscuit at drive-thru around 5:15am. I remember seeing an ad for free coffee for veterans so as a veteran, I asked if they were still doing free coffee for veterans. The cashier seemed unsure and proceeded to charge for the coffee. When I pulled up to the window, the ad was posted on the glass. Free coffee for veterans. I pointed out the ad was on the window. She said she was new and her manager doesn’t know about the deal. I asked to speak to the manager to verify the ad. The manager came yo the window 3-4min later. I said hi and I seen you were doing free coffee for veterans. She just looked at me with a bothered “what’s your point” type gesture. So I asked why was I getting charged. She closed the window without saying anything to me and started throwing her arms in the air in frustration, saying something about me behind the closed window to the cashier swinging her hands around. Visibly upset I’m asking about the coffee. Not to mention I had to wait 10min for the coffee. I just left without food or coffee because she was so rude. Is this how veterans typically treated here? Friends will definitely hear about this

From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with positive attitudes and smiles. Patricia double-checked my order to verify everything was correct. The entire crew seemed to be having a great time! My food came out quick and was on point. I can not express how much the crew positive attitudes are the reason I will be making this Whataburger one of my go-to lunch stops!

Welp. This is now the 3rd time at this location where I paid for chicken strips with gravy and paid extra for other dipping sauce. Got 10 miles home. No dipping sauce. No gravy. Had to repeat the order over and over and over like no one was even trying to listen. Gave me the wrong burger. Kevin needs to step it up. And everyone back there playing around. I am glad to see y’all enjoying your jobs, I mean that, but it’s still a job. I’ve left one great review here for a lady who was amazing about a year ago. But this shit is getting REALLY old. I live too far to go back. Ok that’s all.

I have noticed that the further from bigger cities the better the whataburger is. I live in Austin and I have been to a few but i have not had any good experiences there. This location was a bit slow. I think it took about 8 to 10 minutes from the time the order was placed to when the food was delivered. This location is a mix between a gas station and a whataburger so it’s not the quietest but I would go again.
