Tomo Sushi on Queens Blvd continues to be one of those rare places that never disappoints. We’ve been coming here for years, and the quality, service, and overall experience have always stayed the same—excellent.

The service is friendly, attentive, and professional without feeling overbearing. You’re taken care of from the moment you sit down.

The food is consistently fresh and well executed. The sushi is flavorful, beautifully prepared, and portions are solid. Everything comes out looking great and tasting even better.

The ambience is clean, calm, and welcoming—perfect for a casual dinner or a relaxed night out. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and it shows in every visit.

If you’re looking for dependable, high-quality sushi in Queens, Tomo Sushi is a spot you can count on. A true neighborhood staple.

Love the promotion.. 3 hand rolls for $16. If you are here have the promotion and also order some sashimi.

More then 6 years coming here, actually I was going more to the one on 37 ave in Jackson heights and time to time to this one and in both places hand rolls and sashimi are great!

For those who are scared of wasabi.. in this place is not that spicy.. so try it.

I’m giving it 4 Stars because they always take too long with the payment.

Food is 5 stars..
TRY THE SALMON SASHIMI ❤️

Lunch boxes are great option however the rolls are getting worse. Ate here before and everything is great, few years after covid, food went down. Service is awesome, they’ll make sure to refill the drinks.

I’m baffled as to how all these five star reviews came to light. I sincerely they’re genuine and tasted authentic and proper sushi.

I’ve written hundreds of reviews on Google and at least dozens on sushi and I’m trying to refrain from writing too much because the more I write, the lower the score will be.

Let’s just say some of my sashimi was frozen slices and miso soup was more like miso water. I will stop at that.

The two star is due to affordability and their friendly staff.

The servers try to cheat you off your money.

I dined in and ordered 3 plates of sushi total. The lady decided to treat it as 2 separate orders ONLY because I asked for another one AFTER I ate the other 2. AND when I confronted them about it, she started arguing with me saying that “I should have told her that I wanted the combo deal.” If you knew that was an option, why didn’t you just combine it all together? It wasn’t like I ordered 2, walked out, ate it, and then came back asking for another one.

The manager gave me my money back, but the server was plain rude.

I liked eating here, but this incident just turned me off altogether.

I’ve been going here since I was a kid in middle school (which was well over 15 years ago mind you) and the quality is still the same as it was all those years ago! You’d be hard pressed to find another place with quality like this for the price. The servers are so sweet, and the scallop sashimi I got was so fresh and just as sweet! I got the tekka don, and wow the tuna was amazing! Fresh fish is a mark of a good sushi restaurant, and this one is one of the best in queens!

Their lunch special is good, you get to have a side of salad or miso with whatever lunch option you choose. I had the 2 sushi roll lunch special and it was very filling!! We also ordered a kino salad and takoyaki and it was so yummy!! Great food at a decent price.

Small local Japanese restaurant with reasonable price. We r regular there and we kind of finished the menu. Tried everything there except the noodles part. Special rolls are all awesome.
Updated: went there for dinner after a while. They have added up menu now. Doing our noodles round. Yakisoba was pretty good. Big portion & tempura udon was not bad either.

Great food, nice ambience, some renovations were made. We got a take out menu despite the fact that we were dining in. Their prices were increased and also some items were no longer available for free. I remembered prior to Covid-19 when we dined in Miso Soup was served, no longer available. There is still no kind of beers or wine available, just tea, sodas and Saki. All in all still delicious sushi.

My regular local Japanese restaurant in Elmhurst. I’d say they have fresh fish with local fare. I always get the green mussel with spicy crab and ika maru ( grilled squid )
