Inexpensive breakfast but customer service is not great. We walked in at lunchtime and weren’t sure this place was open. It was empty. The waitress walked in from outside in a few minutes and when we asked if they were open she mumbled some answer. Most of the tables had hand written sign saying closed on them. The waitress then barks, “we’re only serving breakfast. ” I think she was hoping we would just leave. We did stay and ordered breakfast. I got a sausage and cheese omelet and it was ok. The home fries had no seasoning. The best hing about this place is it’s Inexpensive. But if you can find anywhere else to eat nearby in Slippery Rock, I would go elsewhere.

This is the fourth time visiting this restaurant. There is never an issue with the food, or the wait. The reality is it is a small place and turning tables quickly is a challenge.

The issue here is the friendliness of the staff. No smiles, no real hello. The first interaction should not be “are you ready to order?” I am not talking about having a lengthy conversation, I am simply expecting the basics. A hello, a smile, and a thank you, etc.

It is also time to invest $700 in the restrooms. Repaint them, re-caulk the sink, add a new door, add some new tile, lights, and put in the GFI’s.

This place is always busy, but address and fix a few things and you could have a great winner!

This was one of the most uncomfortable, unsatisfactory visit, I ever experienced! The waiter was rude the second we walked in. There was no greeting. They had us bunches in a little corner. The service was trash. I strongly recommend you do not eat there.

Street parking available. Inexpensive prices. Many breakfast options on the menu. Friendly service. Ordered an egg & cheese muffin and a cinnamon roll. Good flavors. Family friendly. They had both a booster seat & a child’s high chair available.

One of the best breakfast spots, if not The Breakfast spot, in Slippery Rock. It’s perfectly situated downtown, a short walk from plenty of public parking.

Yes, you will likely need to wait 5-10 minutes, but it’s worth it. From the Big Buns to the amazingly priced breakfast specials, there are plenty of delicious options. It’s a cozy for 4, but some tables can fit up to 6, and there’s always the counter too.

Got lunch for me and my co workers.
I got 2 gyros and some fries, the fries were unseasoned but the gyros were decent.
Was given a 15 min est time and that was accurate and correct.
Ordered a omelette home fries, 5 gyros, one cinnamon roll, and a chicken salad.

I would give my order a 6 1/2 out of 10

Excellent omelettes. Food came out fast, especially considering the place was packed. You gotta get a cinnamon bun. So darn good! Prices were great.

Very good service and food. I had the western omelet and was cooked just right. I also had the sausage links on the side. They were ok but not great and seemed to be missing taste. The sausage patties and Potatoes were great, and coffee was fresh. Waffle was very good
Service was great and attentive and definitely will visit again

Very tiny little diner so any big parties, be sure to call ahead! Food was pretty good, menu is limited but again, it’s a small place so a big menu isn’t needed. Great prices! 6 peoples for breakfast, 70 bucks! Can’t beat that!! I think another server would be a good idea for the early am rush… I asked for a water 3 times and never got it because she was so busy! It happens! Super nice servers though just too busy to give proper time to their tables.
