We went here for their lunch buffet (18.99/pp) and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing! Everything was perfectly seasoned and each dish had a perfect spice to it! I personally loved the chicken tikka and karahi paneer! The vegetable samosa with their mint chutney is also very good!
I can’t believe this was our first time here! Definitely will be coming back!
The people that worked her were also very nice and welcoming and we were seated right away despite them being busy for lunch!

Update- we went back for dinner and the tandoori chicken was somewhat flavorless. My mom ordered aloo gobi, and for some reason, we didn’t love it as much as the first time we visited..

We tried this Indian restaurant this week and were delighted with flavorful dishes. We arrived a little after 11am on a Saturday. It wasn’t crowded yet but there were already a dozen diners.
The servers were friendly, and the buffet was consistently being cleaned and replenished.
The naan is tasty. Most of the dishes were chicken, a few vegetarian, and one goat curry the day we went. The buffet was $19, and it’s a nice value. We’d definitely go again and might try something from the menu.

Very clean restaurant!
Lots of choices at the buffet. They rotate too so theres new dishes everytime we go. My fave is the goat curry. Friendly staff. The bathrooms are clean. My only complaint is thr cleaner that they use. They use that mexican stuff and so it super strong and messes with your senses and thus messes with your pallette.

This is the best vindaloo I’ve had in the U.S. — and it’s not even close.

Taj Palace understands something a lot of Indian restaurants in the U.S. still don’t: heat without balance is just noise. Their chicken vindaloo has the correct acidity, the correct color, and actual depth — not the overly salty, muddled mess that passes for vindaloo elsewhere.

The spice level was real, not performative. And even after the dish cooled, the flavor held together, which is the clearest sign the kitchen knows what it’s doing. Next visit I’m asking for 14/10, not as a flex, but because this is a kitchen I actually trust to push heat without breaking the dish.

Sweet lassi and papadum were exactly what they should be — clean, balanced, no gimmicks.

What really sealed it: I tried ordering masala chai late in the evening and was politely refused because fresh batches are made earlier in the day and they wouldn’t serve something that wasn’t at its best. That level of honesty and standards is rare — and deeply appreciated.

This place doesn’t cook for people who want “Indian food vibes.” It cooks for people who actually care how Indian food is supposed to taste.

Easy five stars. I’ll be back.

I ordered from Taj Palace Indian Cuisine through UberEats, and this was honestly one of the worst food experiences I’ve ever had. I got Peshawari Naan, Hariyali Chicken, and Chicken Samosa – and not a single item was edible.

The Peshawari Naan was burnt, completely blackened and uneatable. The Chicken Samosa tasted spoiled, with an off smell that made it impossible to eat. And the Hariyali Chicken was soaked in an unnaturally harsh green color – nowhere close to authentic, and looked more like dye than food. I couldn’t touch it.

For a restaurant delivering through a major platform like UberEats, this level of quality is unacceptable. If you’re hoping for authentic Indian food, avoid this place completely. This was a total disappointment, and I won’t be ordering from them again.

Today was our first time at this restaurant, and the service, food, and ambiance were great! We had the lunch buffet, and the variety and taste were excellent. The place was clean and tidy, and all the service members were very attentive. Our two kids enjoyed it a lot, and the spice level was medium for all categories of people. Overall, this is one of the best restaurants in Las Vegas!

Wrong items and smaller portions. And this is not spice level 1 in the least bit.

Portion size doesn’t equate to price…. shameful to get smaller portions but increase price. Another customer lost.

Paid $18 for Masala dinner. Received literally 8 pieces of chicken. The rest of what you see is ALL SAUCE.

The Vindaloo had 6 very very tiny pieces of meat and 2 potatoes for $18.

Order 8 chicken samosas. Received 8 VEGETABLE!! Like come on

The sauces and Garlic Chili Naan were fantastic along with the Lamb Korma. Very good flavor and a healthy amount. Not a fan of a $2.87 “restaurant operating fee.” Staff was helpful with decision making on what to get. Would love to continue trying dishes, but for take out because making customers pay fees on top of higher priced food and tip isnt cool. And when you ask for water, you don’t expect a bottle and to be charged, thats European.

what an absolute delightful experience

came here for a quick lunch buffet….

all items were spot on to the perfection….
star for me was mutton curry at buffet menu, meat was delicate, perfectly cooked

naan was second best on my list, i could have just eaten butter naan with green chutney and it would still be worth it.

tandoori chicken was perfect

sweets were fresh and hitting all the right spot

i ordered chai separately and was not at all disappointed.

next time will definitely come back, may be for ala carte biryani dinner….
