Visited this brunch spot for the first time with my daughter’s and we enjoyed it. Overall the food was delicious, we got chicken & waffles with eggs, and blueberry pancakes with bacon. We absolutely did not like the strawberry or mango lemonade and for them to be $7 each is wild considering it taste store bought. I am looking forward to returning to try some of their other dishes and to try their mixed drinks.

We made a reservation online because the place looked pretty small but, when we got there, he told us we didn’t need one and we could sit wherever we wanted. At first, everything started out rocky and we regretted coming here and were ready to leave but thankfully got much better. Service was a little slow and it took a moment before we got acknowledged, and apparently only the manager could make drinks so it took a while for the drinks to come out however, once she stopped talking to one of the tables and made the drinks, they were very potent and good. Thrvchicken and waffles redeemed everything, though it was huge and probably some of the best chicken! my husband also enjoyed his shrimp and grits, which was a very large portion

I brought my mom here for brunch on a quiet Tuesday morning during the holiday week. It was our first time visiting. While I would return, I do want to note the positives and negatives.

Positives:
Excellent coffee! Hot and fresh and also serves decaf. Food was hot and fresh and EXCELLENT runny eggs! Music was quiet enough to talk (which I appreciated).

Needing improvement:
The restaurant must have been very understaffed this day. Several tables hadn’t been cleared and the floors under the tables that hasn’t been cleared weren’t swept. Not a very appetizing sight upon entry into the restaurant.
The hostess stand was cluttered and no on one was there to greet guests. This makes the vibe a bit off-putting. In general, the vibe is off anyway. I don’t know if it’s the lighting, or the temperature of the establishment (it was cold inside the restaurant…in late December), or the décor…I can’t quite put my finger on it, but the restaurant doesn’t feel welcoming. As a matter of fact, we did see people come in, take a look around, and leave while we were there.

The server was very sweet but it very well could have been her first day based on the poor quality of service. She was slow to come to our table when we first sat down, took forever to bring our coffee, and was slow on refills and checking on us. Water was never offered, and when I finally asked for a glass of water, she just brought me a glass and never offered anything to my mother. The coffee was great but wasn’t serviced with any fixings (sugar, Splenda, etc.). I actually had to get up and get my own sweetener. The creamer was just little plastic pods that you find at the gas station…I expected higher quality.

My mom had an omelet with a biscuit, which was very good, but the server never offered butter or jam or syrup for the biscuit. I had Huevos Rancheros which was also very good, the only improvement I would offer was that it was COVERED in salsa which overpowered the other flavors. It was a huge portion and I couldn’t finish it.

The prices are a bit on the high side for the level of hospitality. I expected better quality of service for sure.

Overall: I probably will return to give it one more chance and see if it was just an off-day for the service. No disappointment when it comes to the food or coffee!

The Brunch Spot was absolutely phenomenal! Everything from the atmosphere to the service was top-tier, and the food was beyond delicious. I ordered the shrimp and grits, plus eggs with country potatoes, and let me tell you — it was the kind of meal that has you planning your next visit before you even leave.
The shrimp and grits were cooked perfectly — flavorful, fresh, and seasoned just right with a rich, comforting taste that felt like pure southern perfection. The eggs were exactly how I wanted them, and the country potatoes were crispy, well-seasoned, and honestly addictive.
And I have to give a special shoutout to Taylor, who made the experience even better. Taylor was friendly, attentive, and incredibly professional, making sure everything came out quickly and exactly right. Their customer service was outstanding and made us feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated.
If you’re looking for a place with amazing brunch food and even better service, The Brunch Spot is the one. And trust me — ask for Taylor! I’ll definitely be coming back!

Pros: Decent seating area, moderate noise- easy to have conversations and good food
Cons: needs improvement in keeping tables and chairs clean. Even though they cleaned our table, we had to clean again ourselves cuz the table was cleaned with wet cloth and never wiped with dry one on top of it. The worst was part was their service. The food came to our table after 50 minutes of ordering. We asked them twice how long it was going to take. We were starving by the time the food came. Although the food tasted good but we won’t come back due to lack of service. No one would like to wait for 50 minutes to get scrambled eggs with toast

I was looking for a new place to have breakfast and receive the suggestion of The Brunch Spot. It’s a bright place that is simple And plenty of room for patrons.
The menu has a nice variety of breakfast, brunch and lunch items, some with the appearance of some international fusion.
I had the ” The Brunch Spot Waffles” with the addition of country potatoes. The waffles come with choice of eggs, Any style, and choice of meat including sausage or bacon. I had eggs over-easy and sausage. All items were served hot and flavorful!
I was having my meal around 11:00 a.m. On a Thursday so the place was not very busy. Even still service tended to be a little bit on the slow side. There was only one wait staff person who was also tending the bar. Oh did I mention they have a bar? So you can have mimosas and other cocktails support your brunch requirements! I did not try anything from the bar today. Just a cup of coffee which was delicious.
The server could be just a little more attentive though. I’m sure she was wearing plenty of hats, which means they probably could use another staff person on hand to help make sure everyone’s getting their needs met. And that was really the only nit-picky thing I had.
I definitely want to come back and bring a friend. I want to try their pancakes. They’re of a different variety, very thick and apparently quite fluffy and tasty. A little like the pancakes I’ve seen on YouTube that are made in Korean restaurants. It looks like to be about an inch thick for each one! And also looking to try out some of their more international fare. Definitely a recommendation but be patient and courteous and you’ll get exactly what you need and be very satisfied at a very good price.

A very chill brunch location with great food and drinks. It’s ideal to meet up with friends and family or just come work and dine. Absolutely love the avocado toast and the mimosa flights are top notch. Definitely a go to spot!

Ummm, okay… first impressions: it looked like the place had just opened. Not sure if it was the owner or the boss running the show, but she was everywhere—hosting, making drinks, taking orders. There was one other server, and about 20 people in the restaurant at 11 a.m.
Now, the food? That’s where they shine. The avocado toast was packed with flavor, the breakfast burrito had my husband satisfied, and the mimosa flight (plus a few other goodies) hit the spot. My family enjoyed everything—we all left full and happy.
Food: solid 10/10.
Service: about a 4/10 (they were clearly stretched thin).
Overall: A great place to eat, quick food service, but the staffing could use some fine-tuning.

I had a wonderful experience at The Brunch Spot! The service was outstanding from start to finish—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The staff made sure everyone felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire visit.
What I appreciated most was the great variety of food options, especially the thoughtful selections available for vegetarians. It’s refreshing to visit a place where everyone can find something delicious to enjoy. The atmosphere, service, and quality of food made this a brunch experience I would absolutely recommend. I look forward to visiting again! Daniel was our server and he was great! Thank you all for the wonderful experience.
