Ordered from this location 4 times in the last 4 weeks (don’t judge me) and the food has been absolutely perfect. Pizza well-done, exactly as requested, without burning it whatsoever. Arrived quickly and still hot every time. Officially my favorite pizza spot on this side of the metro

We were in Des Moines meeting with family from several different locations for an event and I wanted pizza to feed a number of us at our hotel. I bumped into the Northern Lights location just search for “pizza” and am VERY glad I did. I grew up pretty close to the Urbandale location so that was a great old life connection. We had several incredible pizzas and the bread “sticks” were unbelievable. We get back to Des Moines several times a year and you can bet, I will be stopping at Northern Lights again. Thank you.

I was in shock and disbelief when I seen all of the staff making and prepping food with no gloves. One gentleman coughed a few times and went right back to adding toppings to the pizza. The other person was taking order all while handling money and moments later he went right back to handling food. No one washed their hands or even attempt to put gloves on. I did record a few videos and took pictures. I will share one or two videos with you.

I would also like to report the fact that my daughter was sick the very next day. She complained of stomach cramps and was going to the bathroom often. I strongly believe that she caught some kind of bacteria stomach bug after eating here. We normally don’t eat out, but this day I was rewarding my girl. What a terrible experience. My daughter is doing better now but my God. This needs corrected Immediately.

Traveling through the area and was told to check out the Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza. Went in and despite being very busy the service was fast and friendly! I had my pizza within 15 minutes of ordering. There are pleasant jokes hanging around as you sit or they even offer to walk it out to your car while you wait. The flavors definitely come together and is really enjoyable, plus the portions are great and well priced! Thank you!

I’m a little jaded when it comes to pizza . I owned a ran my own parlor. So with that said , your crust tastes like white bread, your sauce is good, your cheese combination is decent , toppings goes on top , not under the cheese , there’s a reason they are called toppings. By the way Italian Salami is a topping. Tap beer goes Great with pizza. I bought a medium Works, I picked up a slice and the toppings covered with cheese slid off in a clump. Smh,

I ordered taco pizza and a Canadian bacon, mushroom & pineapple pizza a lil after 8pm on Sat night. Arrived at 9, no taco pizza. Made a taco for me & another driver brought it out. If you’re ordering taco pizza, don’t bother. They bring you hamburger pizza and then give you a plastic baggie with lettuce and a very small container of chopped tomatoes, so small you’d expect it to maybe cover 3 slices in all fairness & literally 1 oz of sour cream that is basically impossible to spread over more than 2 pieces. Lots of packets of hot sauce which by the time you have to open each one, it’s time for bed after waiting an hour and then another 30 min. Not my thing & pretty disappointed given I paid over $50 for what I ordered & a $15 tip to the first driver wasn’t great. ‍♀️ . The other pizza was alright but they did not cook crispy as I had requested. To clarify….I understand why they put lettuce in a baggy, etc… The issue was that there was barely enough provided to cover even three pieces of the medium size taco pizza as mentioned above so I was left with no taco coverings for the remaining slices of pizza.

Pizza was cold, toppings had hardened and came right off with my first bite. It wasn’t fresh. The Alfredo tasted spoiled like with my breadsticks. Wasn’t the best experience but I know it can be better. Just a rough day maybe

I have a garlic crust and tossed Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, and onion pizza. It was really tasty. I was surprised that the Italian sausage was somewhat spicy in a good manner. I didn’t eat inside so I don’t know anything about the atmosphere. I had a delivery driver, bring it to my place of employment and he was extremely friendly and brought it right to the door.
