I wanted to try the barria tacos. So I seen the reviews and decided to go here. I walked in greeted immediately and was seated. The waitress was amazing! Now for the food…. Not so great. The soda was flat but I just drank the water. The chips they brought out was still warm from them freshly cooking them. That was great but no salt on them. The salsa had no flavor and tasted watery. Now the tacos I was sooooooooo disappointed . They didn’t even look good ( look at the photos above) The meat was tender but where is the flavor!! I mean noooooo flavor!! Wowwww I will not be returning here again.

I ordered the POLLO HAWAIANO and it was sooo yummy. Definitely recommend that dish. My bf ordered the ACP chicken and did not enjoy it that much. 🙁 the chips and salsa provided was nice but the chips were stale. Our waitress was extremely nice and she kept out water filled to the brim! We also ordered some chicken wings and for a Mexican restaurant they actually were pretty good but obvi dont expect anything crazy. They did have some very delicious ranch as well!

So I’ll start by saying the food isn’t the problem. Cheap and inconsistent management is the problem. I have ordered online regularly at both this location and the Greenville locations. Every time I have EVER ordered a meal, chips and salsa has always been provided with the meal. However, tonight that was not the case. The customer service was horrible as the person I spoke to on the phone informed me to go orders NEVER get chips and salsa without it being an extra charge. Once again, I have always had chips and salsa provided and not once was there ever an extra charge. I understand things change over time but that should be advertised. Will not be ordering from this location any time soon.

Do you like Mexican restaurants? Do you enjoy authentic food? Are you in/near Wilson, NC? Then this is the place to go. It’s the first Mexican restaurant I’ve found in a long time with lengua and lamb. The meat was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. Very no icwly done. The Italian margarita was fantastic as well. I highly recommend this place!

We went here for lunch. Amd it was great. I had the enchiladas with rice and beans the N2. And my husband had the N3 which was a Burrito, taco and rice. We agree both were very good. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants Mexican.

Nice place and fantastic food. Were visiting with family from out of state and found this place…gave it a try. Drinks were very good…food was tasty and service was excellent. Definitely recommend!

I got the birria quesadilla which was amazing and then best birria I’ve ever had. Got the chicken tortilla soup and it was amazing!! Not a fan of enchilada sauce, other than that, service was good and the restaurant itself looks great. Will be coming back !

I always visit Mi Cabana when I’m in Wilson. Great environment and great food.
I usually go with the taco salad and it great every time. This time I chose the fajita taco bowl and it was good but I should have stuck with my usual.
Also, the service left much to be desired this time, which is usually not the case.
I hope the quality is not going down here because it’s my favorite restaurant in Wilson.
