Honestly, I was hesitant to try this place because I’ve grown up with authentic Mexican food in southern California and this is in a very rural area. The lack of good pictures was also a little scary, but we gave it a shot. We fell in love with the chips and salsa, (which is always a good sign of a good Mexican restaurant), and proceeded to order a lot of tacos since it was at very good price. All of the food was so delicious! We loved the different varieties of tacos, so we came back a couple days later for another experience. Please give this restaurant a shot. It is sooo good and savory. We will be by a lot more, including having events catered. Staff were amazing, attentive, and friendly, and the decor was very fun.

We moved here from Texas and it’s been months since we’ve had any decent Mexican food. I really wasn’t expecting much from this little restaurant in Dixon, but I was more than pleasantly surprised. The pollo Gordo is absolutely delicious. My margarita was excellent. Good portions and completely fair prices.

First and last visit, food was bland, ordered a taco salad that had what appeared to be water in the bottom of the taco bowl. My husband’s did wasn’t any better ,, neither of us ate it and I literally threw it away ,, extremely disappointed ☹️

The restaurant is a nice, clean, relaxed environment with a friendly, attentive staff. This was the second time my wife and I ate here. I had the #1 lunch that consisted of chili relleno, hard taco (loaded with good stuff), beans, and a nice guacamole salad. It was delicious. I highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back ! ! !

Salsa was amazing! A little bit of spice but delicious! Then got the Arroz Avion and perfect portion. Plenty of shrimp/chicken/steak. Service was great and would love to come back again!
