Today I forgot to order the soda for our meals. When I arrived to pick up my order, the order was not yet ready ( I arrived, early not the fault of the restaurant.)
While waiting I went to the ordering station to get 2 small soda cups. As I reached for them the woman initially interacted with, she appears to be in charge, shouted “you didn’t order soda so you can’t have any cups”. Fair enough, but I told her I would be adding 2 bottles of coke to my order. She rang up the $8 charge and I paid. Since we would be sharing the 2 16oz bottles between the 3 of us reached out to get 2 small cups. She out her hand over the stack of cups and said “these are paid for cups”, you can’t take them.
I’ve taken 2 cups the previous 2x to split the soda and was never refused. Even for take out i add a 15% tip. The other staff from this restaurant had always been efficient and professional. The foods been very good too.
Just did appreciate her making me feel like a
thief is all.
I am writing to report a serious food safety issue related to an order placed at your Eatontown location on Tuesday the 20th.
Three people, including myself, ate food from this order. Shortly afterward, all three of us became very ill. We have experienced severe diarrhea and stomach pain lasting four days. My symptoms were serious enough that I had to see a doctor. During my visit, the doctor informed me that I am not the first patient he has treated who became sick after eating at this location, which is extremely concerning.
This situation has caused significant physical discomfort and disruption to our daily lives. Food safety should be a top priority, and I am very worried that there may be improper food handling, storage, or preparation practices occurring at this restaurant.
I request that this matter be investigated immediately. I would also appreciate a response regarding what steps will be taken to address this issue and prevent others from getting sick.
Please take this complaint seriously, as this is a health matter.
Sincerely,
Moe
First time: Missing condiments on my burger. I called customer service, filed a report, then brought in my receipt to get it remade. Asked if I could keep the receipt for bookkeeping (paid with business card). The older lady acted like I was trying to scam them for free food and told the manager I wanted to keep it to get more free stuff. I explained I need receipts for accounting, but she seemed confused and jumped to conclusions. I ended up taking a photo and letting them keep the original.
Second time: Again, missing condiments and bacon on the burger was fatty and undercooked. Called the store—no answer. Went in the next day, same lady said, “You had an issue last time.” When I asked if they’re allowed to make mistakes, she said, “We don’t make mistakes.” The general manager said “if you have another issue we won’t remake or refund you” as if they are perfect. Checked reviews and I’m not the only one with missing condiments or dry burgers. The fries were extremely salty—whoever seasoned them that night either seemed angry or was trying to give someone high blood pressure; there was so much Cajun seasoning left at the bottom of my bag that it could have filled an entire tube of seasoning to keep in my cabinet.
