We hosted a private surprise 70th birthday party for my dad here and everything was PHENOMENAL. During the planning phase, we worked with Nicole who was so communicative and just great to work with. Every person that worked the event was kind, helpful and provided excellent service. It was timely, well-run and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for.

My boyfriend and I decided on a whim to come here one Friday evening, and it is such an intimate yet fun location to checkout! There was live music which was good alongside the service as the waiter was super nice and helpful. We ordered the Buffalo Parmesan wings for the appetizer, and they were delicious. He got the chipotle salmon with penne, and I got the banshee burger. Both were incredible, and they both left us satisfied without the overly full feeling. The drinks are experimental and delicious as well. It’s truly a nice little spot with good food and ambiance.

What a great idea to put an old school arcade in the back of your family friendly bar. They have a bunch of 80s and 90s classic games, some pinball machines and done of those tables with arcade games built into them. There is also a nicely built bar for adults to get a drink at. I’m glad to have them in our downtown.
*Edit. This place is no longer an arcade. They converted it into a speak easy. It looks great and they have a local Metuchen brewery on tap. The owner is super nice. It’s still worth going for sure, but I didn’t want people going expecting an arcade.

We had a phenomenal experience for a private party of 30 guests. Our bartender was amazing. The food was wonderful. I love that the Parlor lounge area was so private and quiet but that the front bar area had TVs and darts and was a little more lively. It allowed our party to include all the elements we wanted. Everyone from the owner to the event planner to the bartender to our server was phenomenal

Went here for a jazz event on Valentines day and loved it. The musicians were amazing, the event was well put together, very intimate cozy environment with such a sweet vibe and nice artwork on the walls. the bartender made excellent drinks, perfect balance of liquor and taste, and he was very quick and extremely sweet. Customer service was excellent, everyone was extremely nice and food was absolutely delicious. We did have a long wait on food because they were busy and only had 1 waitress, but it was worth it! I highly recommend this spot. I would visit again.

Unfortunately a bad night as the computers were down. Our server was very nice but food took forever to be brought to the table…lukewarm at best. We had to pay cash due to the computer situation but weren’t told that until after eating. Glad I carry cash.
At best, management should have been forthcoming of the circumstances or visited the tables. Didn’t happen.

Went to the parlor for the first time for much needed beverages and laughs!!!! I had such a great time. I found a new to go to spot! Staff was amazing. Food was great. Jerrold B and friends were awesome! Great comedians! Highly recommended!!! Looking forward to upcoming events!

Cool hidden speakeasy – Had good drinks decently priced and a cool atmosphere. Used to be a barcade but went full craft beer bar / back-end speakeasy recently. Food is provided by Hailey’s Harp which is awesome. We had some beers and apps and had a great time.
