This place is legendary and one of a kind. It is real tiny but people go there for the ambiance and experience as well as for the food. We had bagels sandwiches, a tiny bit greasy but real good. Mainly a breakfast/lunch place, check the hours. Most of seats are at the counter where you can enjoy the personalities of the long time owners & locals. Maybe one table in the place. Sells lottery tickets too!

Let’s talk about how I lived in the area 2015-2018 and never went inside of this beautiful little house restaurant on the corner of BrookPark Road!! I have regrets that I could’ve been a regular! I get my laundry wash and folded at simply right up the street and on pick up decided to get some breakfast. I AM thrilled and so pleased!! Please get the Logi’s French toast for the smile your stomach and soul needs!! Thank me L8R! 🙂 side note you only need a little drizzle of syrup bc it has its own subtle sweetness to it and comes w powder sugar on top!!

Classic and cozy little breakfast spot. Used to go here years ago and it’s still just as good after probably 10 years. The Ashlee burrito is my favorite and the Corned beef Hash skillet is a close second. Always good vibes here and the service has always been good for me. I wanted to try the chicken and waffles, but sadly the fryer was down.

Stopped in after church, was my husbands first time, in 20 years and it didn’t disappoint! It was so nice to sit around and talk to other people around the counter no one on their phones! You wouldn’t think much just driving by, but I was pleasantly surprised! My husband and I both had breakfast and our son had some early lunch off the kids menu! Might become our go to after church on Sunday’s!

Awesome little local restaurant. This diner is small but is a great experience if you are in Cleveland, Ohio. It is very easy to find using Google Maps. The food here is great and the service is excellent. The best part is having the local experience in a one of a kind establishment. There is plenty of free parking in a large lot surrounding the building.

A small intimate space, Charlie’s is the real deal. An authentic gem that still delivers a great diner experience, good breakfast food with cheerful service. The corn beef hash is simply excellent – maybe the best in years of diners. The eggs and sausage are standard fare delivered quickly and with a hugely friendly touch. Honestly, at the counter I felt like I had been coming for years, they were so nice. I’d come back anytime – and I think there are a few who do so every day. It is quirky and credible but it is also great, with plenty of parking and even if you have to take the highway briefly as we did from downtown… it was ten minutes and worth every moment of the drive – and that would be true if it was twice as far. Drive and pat yourself on the back for doing it right.

This is a cute little local diner that I stumbled upon. I’m a huge supporter of private family owned businesses and Charlie’s Dog House Diner is becoming one of my favorites. In fact, I’ve been here 3 times already!
First of all, it has a very friendly atmosphere. You can sit and talk to random strangers if you so choose, or just people watch. The servers are always friendly and chatty. The food is tasty for the price you’re paying! Overall, I would highly recommend this place!
