I came in (2/27/26) because the drive thru line was long. I got to the register & Gonzalo was the first to “help” me. He starts taking my order (I was ordering 3 items) & on the first item he starts to turn to talk to a coworker. I’m just standing there. He then turns around, doesn’t say a word, stares at the register like he expects me to continue… so I do. I start to talk and this man starts talking to his coworker AGAIN. He walks away. He doesn’t say ANYTHING TO ME! Brent then comes over to take the rest of my order. That man stood at that register, didn’t say a WORD. He looked mad as hell. Not sure why. I finished my order quickly and got out of that place! The only reason why I’m giving the service here 3 stars is because I’ve been back since and just decided to give the drive thru a chance and was greeted by Jenny. She was extremely nice. She had great customer service! She actually TALKED TO ME. I was starting to think people at that Starbucks didn’t speak. I guess it’s just those two grumpy boys who don’t like their jobs.

Miya just set the tone for my entire day, which at any coffee shop, cozy and chill as they’re meant to be, she sets the tone and this location ought notice what a gem they’ve got on their hands. They’ve also (unlike the downtown location) have outlets to charge, an outdoor patio (covered from the Coachella Valley sun, much appreciated / needed) and they’ve got good music always, great spaces to sit for a bit or just come slide thru for your pick-up order or even drive through. Don’t sleep on this location Palm Springs! Also, Miya deserves recognition as one of the most empathetic, chill, and incredibly kind yet still expeditious with her work and brand standard of what Starbucks represents. Great team, great place. Grocery store and laundry right in walking distance also.

They forgot part of my order today. When I called to tell them, they said they didn’t make a mistake that it was sitting right there. I went through drive-through. Not sure how they expected me to pick it up. Then to get a refund I was either disconnected or hung up on trying to get an 800 number because they expected me to drive all the way back up there for my one drink that they forgot. They can’t do a refund in that store. So then you have to call at 800 number for a refund that takes approximately 7 to 10 days. No wonder Starbucks is closing. There are so many alternatives now I swear I will never walk foot into this Starbucks ever again. I’ve been trying to save money anyway they really helped me out by being such incompetent employees. Thanks guys.

Nice place to visit. Came here for breakfast a couple times while in town. The manager and leads are very nice and super friendly. If there was an issue with a drink they would fix it no problem. Would come here again.

The employees who pack and hand out ready orders are trained extremely poorly. I arrived at Starbucks and saw that my two orders were ready. They were just sitting there and needed to be bagged and given to me. I asked the staff (three different employees!), each of whom was dragging their feet, but none of them bagged or handed over my orders. Instead, new orders kept coming out onto the counter, which the employees would pack, while my orders continued to sit unbagged. As a result, I waited 20 minutes, grabbed the orders myself, and delivered them to the customers, who were late for their meeting because of me. They got furious with me and gave me bad delivery ratings. And this happened solely because a poorly trained employee didn’t know to pack orders in the sequence they were placed on the counter—they did it in reverse order, from the end. Besides me, other frustrated drivers were standing around at Starbucks, unable to get their orders because the poorly trained Starbucks employees simply lack the brains to figure out the right sequence for handing out orders.

Review for Starbucks:

I’ve had several negative experiences at this location. This isn’t the first time that, despite placing a specific order, I receive something completely different. The quality of service has been lacking, and this issue has occurred multiple times. I hope they can improve to prevent future inconveniences.

“Great, clean Starbucks with quick service. They took my order and payment efficiently, but my name wasn’t called out loudly. Waited while 3-4 customers after me got drinks before noticing mine was ready. A bit disappointing, but nice spot overall. Will use drive-thru next time.”

I was treated as a nuisance, not a customer. I was first in line and waited while the employees were being bossed around by the…manager? She acknowledged me after about 30 seconds with “you’re gonna have to wait.” Uhhh, ok.

She finally got to the register and didn’t say anything word. Finally, I said “I’m waiting one someone, may I please have an ice water.”
She annoingly replied, ” you have to order something and pay before I can give you that.”

Ok, I was annoyed and said “well, that’s stupid.”

She literally rolled her eyes at me and said “I don’t make the rules.”

I replied “I understand, but your explanation was condescending and rude.”

I AM DONE WITH THE MEDIOCRITY OF STARBUCKS.

There are a bunch of small.Small owned coffee shops in Palm Springs. Koffi is just up the street & the give you ice water!!!

What’s the point in the whole “looks like it was just placed a few mins ago, so we’re still working on it” bs? 1. Passive aggressive. 2. Unnecessary. A latte takes 2-3 mins to make. When I pull up 4 mins after ordering there’s no reason I should hear that. Just say. We’re working on it pull forward please. It’s simple. Have you asked yourself – why do I say that? People order at the window and its no different. At least this person’s order is already in and I dont have to take it. Let’s put on our thinking caps and nicr attitudes for work guys. Smh

Ordered a hot peppermint mocha that was so watered down it tasted like peppermint water. Then a blended peppermint mocha which was all watery and also tasted like water with a bit of peppermint. This location never has any consistency will definitely not be coming back or recommending.
