This is a hidden jewel in downtown Quitman. La Poblanita has the best Mexican food I’ve had in the US. The flavors are amazing; homemade tortillas, soups and their meats are seasoned and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is simple and quaint. It feels like you are visiting your grandma(in Mexico). The service was excellent albeit simple. I’ve been back on repeat as I can’t get enough of the flavors. Be warned: it’s addictive!

These tacos are amazing and the service is fantastic! Fantastic authentic Mexican food!!! Friendly staff. Want to try all of their dishes. As other reviewers noted, some Spanish knowledge is helpful but certainly not required (use Google translate if needed). I will be craving this yummy food. Worth the drive from wherever you live!
