Lovely hotel with beautiful gardens. Restaurant is spacious and open with seating by the infinity pool. In the evening you can see all the lights from the fishing boats. Food is very good – we had many favourites on the menu. Service excellent from staff that are very attentive and polite. Special mention to Dung who has been here for us all week with her cheery helpful demeanour. Tonight we also enjoyed service from Vy.

We were looking for a restaurant. When scrolling Google Earth along the beach we found The Spice House restaurant at Cassia Cottage. A nice place to have diner outdoor next to an infinity pool and view on the beach and sea. As starter we had Tacos and for main we chose the Cobia fish and Paella style risotto that was heavenly filled with different kinds of seafood and pieces of chorizo. As desert we had the five spice Creme Brulee. All dishes were refined in taste. Well done. Please continue. We enjoyed it a lot.

The service here has been the best I’ve received in my week on Phu Quoc, visiting multiple restaurants on Google’s “Best restaurants of Phu quoc” list.
Immediately seated. Huge restaurant. Empty on the inside despite being Saturday night at 7:00pm, but packed in the more romantic outside area. The inside is filling up quick with reservations. The Black Pepper G&T is excellent. The view is incredible. The servers are excellent without being “too much” or “too little.”

I began my day in Phu Quoc with breakfast at The Spice House—what a breath of fresh air. Tucked inside the serene Cassia Cottage resort, it feels peaceful even when things are busy. The open-air setup lets in soft sea breezes, palm tree shadows, and golden light—just right for a slow morning.
The menu is a delight for those wanting something healthful without sacrificing flavor. Their fresh garden rolls filled with crisp herbs, mint, fragrant coriander and a light dipping sauce were perfect: bright, clean, and not heavy.
I also tried one of their smoothie bowls—rich with tropical fruit, a sprinkle of seeds, and cooling coconut milk. It was nourishing in the way that fills you up gently, not with that overly sweet punch that leaves you craving something else.
What impressed me the most was how they balance local Vietnamese produce (think herbs, fresh seafood, spices) with mindful cooking practise: no MSG, no undesirable additives, real ingredients.
Service was kind and attentive—staff asked about dietary preferences without me having to start the conversation, a superb plus for staff Quoc!!! Portion sizes were generous (but not wasteful), so I felt very good leaving the table. Ambience and a view of the beach in the distance added to the calm—just what you want if you’re focused on wellness and travel.
If I come back to Phu Quoc, The Spice House will be one of my first stops for breakfast again. Highly recommended for anyone wanting that healthy, feel-good start to their day.

We spent our last night having dinner at Cassia Cottage. The food was very good. Service was impressive and attentive. A special Thank You to Huynh for her wonderful service and took time to explain some of the dishes we chose. See pictures. We enjoyed 3 nights at the resort.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The location is stunning, and the tables were beautifully decorated with fresh flowers. The entire team was incredibly warm, and everyone had such a sweet smile, which made us feel right at home. A special thanks goes to Dung and Huyen for their fantastic and friendly service.
The food was easily some of the best we’ve had on our entire trip. The fish was outstanding, and the dessert was the perfect finale. Everything was fresh and full of flavor.

We found this place from a mention in lonely planet so decided to try and we’re very glad we did. One of the best meals we have had in all Vietnam. Authentic local food with a modern twist, we had a mackerel cheviche and red sapper fillet to start but my main of caramelised fish in clay pot was the stand out, really tasty. Highly recommended. Staff were really nice and attentive also.

At the New Year’s Eve party at Cassia Cottage, the food was absolutely delicious and gourmet. Everything was of the highest quality.
The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the service was excellent. You can truly feel that the owner takes care not only of the guests but also of the employees. He knows each staff member by name and how long they have been working at the hotel, and he treats everyone with respect and kindness.
The general manager, Luisa, is a highly professional specialist who does her job perfectly and with great passion!
