I don’t always get to leave a great review so I thought I’d take the opportunity to do so! The hubby and I got famous bowls tonight and they were perfect. The chicken wasn’t dry and there was enough cheese and gravy which is not always the case. Good job to the crew working tonight!

Stopped in before my child’s sporting event to get some FAST food and chose KGC because it is USUALLY decent food and a change from other restaurants. This KFC is terrible. Took order while no one else was in line and no one else was inside dining. They asked us to pull ahead and we waited as 3 or 4 more cars ordered and we were asked to pull further forward. 20 mins later what appeared to be the only guy working brings us our food and we leave. No bottled water we ordered. No utensils for the sides. Very few French fries – maybe 25% of normal. Greasy chicken strips. Avoid this KFC. Needs a major overhaul.

First I love the cleanliness of the restaurant especially not being from that area so I just stopped in for some chicken littles. The food was great and so was the service and to top it all off Connie was a true sweetheart. Very kind, polite, respectful and great customer service. She’s was absolutely amazing and very positive.

This location- AWFUL!!!!
I have continuously held out hope for this location being that it’s the only one in town without having to drive 30 minutes either direction to Columbia City, Fort Wayne, Decatur or Wabash. And time and time again they let me down. It takes them F.O.R.E.V.E.R. to get you your order. I have ordered here different days, different hours of a day, whether it’s morning/noon, middle afternoon, evening, or night. And done even different ordering methods like calling in an order ahead, mobile order, walk in and order on the spot, and drive-thru. It makes no difference… There has been several times I’ve placed a mobile order, it says it’ll be ready at a certain time, I’ll drive there at the time that they give me it will be done, and it will not be on the mobile order shelf ready for me to grab at the time they specified it would be done. I will STILL have to stand around and wait severrrallll minutes longer for them to finally get it done and hand it to me. A lot of times it’ll take them the same amount of time that I was originally given when placing the order. So for example if it said it would be ready in 15 minutes, and I arrive there to pick it up 15 minutes later, it’ll take them approximately ANOTHER 15 minutes before they’re handing it to me…
There could be no other cars out front in the parking lot, no cars in the Drive-Thru, and no customers inside, I can be the ONLY customer there; and it will STILL take them 20-25 minutes to get me an 8-piece bucket of chicken, no sides- no difficult extras- no added extra changes to the order- and it does not change their speed one bit.
And I don’t even know where they hold their cooked chicken…because the displays behind the cashier NEVER have hot and fresh cooked chicken in them ready to be divvied out to customers like literally EVERY OTHER KFC I’ve ever been in does…. Something needs to be done with this locations workers… whether the operating manager needs to be replaced, or the workers need to be re-trained, or even just something done with the main cooker of the chicken (if there is such a person) if they’re slacking at their job and making them fall behind on getting orders out. I don’t know what the issue is here, but it’s just if other KFC locations can manage to get people their order hot n fresh and out of the building in less than 10 minutes no matter how big the order, then I don’t see why this location can’t ever seem to do it!

I have never had the worst service in my entire life and been treated so badly. The food was horrible. The lady was absolutely ridiculous. Ridiculously mean to me, yelled at me, smarted off, laughed and waved at me and smirked through The window I had ordered a 16 piece meal that cost me like $80 for my family and children as I’m watching at the window. She is smashing as many pieces of chicken chicken can get down there in one little bucket every time she put a couple pieces in she would smash it down. She done it three or four times and when she come to bring me my food, I said didn’t you have like an extra bucket or box you could’ve put some of that in instead of smoking all that food into you expect me to take $80 worth of food home to my family all smooshed into a little bucket because that’s all we have. I only have one bucket left here. She said no I said well could you add chicken to a box instead of smash it all into a bucket nope you’ll have to wait 20 minutes for that and I said OK I’ll wait and she flipped out on me while I sat and waited and watched and they were mad and it was gross so I won’t be going back there again !!!! I’ve gotten good food from this place before and I will say all the workers are pleasant, but last night was very, very disappointing. We got an 12 piece meal and all of the drumsticks looked like mini chicken wings from BWW that had been refried (in the pic they are compared to a normal size breast. The pic really doesn’t do it justice), the coleslaw was spicy as if they had used old overripe onions, and the biscuits were smushed and stale! You really expect people to pay 40 DOLLARS for this kind of quality?? I heard that Popeyes is opening down the street, maybe they will have better quality control ♀️
