Pretty good pizza.
Ordered through the website and was told it’d be ready by 17.36 (14min later). Arrived on time but the pizza was not in the oven yet and waited another 8 minutes. Minor detail as total time was still fine but don’t count on the websites estimated time.
Ordered with mushrooms but when I got home I found no mushrooms on the pizza. 3$ wasted, but got 10% off when I ordered so it balanced out.
No a single costumer there besides me. Not a eat-in vibe at all.

Stopped in for a late dinner. Our rental house was a block away. Very clean cafe/bistro with plenty of seating. We were the only ones dining in at the time and they took good care of us.

My college-age daughter and I had a wonderful experience at Cafe Roma last week. I highly recommend the margherita pizza–it was as good as any I’ve ever had. We enjoyed our brief conversation with the owner. A nice guy The place was clean with lots of seating, and it’s conveniently located in a historic corridor just a few blocks off St. Charles Avenue. Give it a shot. I’ll definitely be going back.

This is my second review of Cafe Roma. I was back in New Orleans this week and wanted to try Cafe Roma again. About two months ago I went with a group of people but this time I went alone. I was the only customer dining in the restaurant but there were several to-go orders while I was there. Last time I had a sandwich so this time I wanted to try something different. I ordered a small Caesar salad and a small margarita pizza. My salad came out first and it was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were very fresh, homemade croutons were super crunchy and flavorful, they really piled on the parmigiana, which I love and the Caesar dressing was bright and tangy. The margarita pizza is one of the best I’ve ever had. There was so much cheese it was almost absurd, in a really delicious way! The crust was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I really enjoyed the addition of minced garlic to the top. The waiter was the younger guy that was there before. As before he was very polite and no intrusive. When I finished my meal I asked for the check and since I had some time left before I needed to go back to the office I asked if he minded if I sat for a while. He graciously said of course and even brought me some ice water when I saw I had finished my drink. Over all a wonderful and relaxing experience and I will be back and look forward to trying another item on the menu. Thank you Cafe Roma for your hospitality.

It was an average Italian restaurant with average Italian food. The food was good, but not outstanding. Unfortunately there were only two people working in the restaurant at the moment me and my family were there, so the service was running pretty slow. Furthermore, my stepmom ordered a Pesto Artichoke Pizza but instead got an Artichoke Pizza with marinara sauce and no tomatoes. It eventually took us about an hour to get our food, and another 5 minutes for water. The waitress was nice but as I stated the service was slow.

Five stars across the board! We ordered pasta and pizza and both were amazing. The service was very nice and the place looked very clean. We came in a little after they opened so they weren’t completely prepared BUT they got ready very fast. We were seated very quick and food came out nice and hot. If you’re looking for a nice spot to chill and eat, this is where to go!

Gulf shrimp pizza to die for!!!! Seasoned fries also hit the spot. 4 kids and three mom’s stumbled in after a long travel day and they didn’t disappoint!!!! Everyone was so welcoming and we had a great time and the food couldn’t be better.

Went yesterday and was ignored by server who walked past us several times without a “hi, I’ll be right over.” An older grumpy looking man behind the counter also ignored us. There was ONE table with to-go boxes leaving so this place was NOT crowded. It was basically EMPTY besides us. We were about to leave when the frazzled server acknowledged us.
Food came without utensils or napkins…just basic restaurant and customer service is lacking here. We only came bc Cafe Reconcile which has STUDENT workers was packed and couldn’t seat us. I see why this place is empty.
We didn’t feel welcomed and won’t be returning. I don’t think they like minorities here even though they’re on ORETHA CASTLE HALEY STREET!!
Was not worth the $$$.

Tried several dishes while we were here, toasted ravioli, Hawaiian pizza, & chicken parmigiana. Everything was amazing, super fresh and delicious. Excellent service and tasty food. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Italian. Even the salad served with the meal was incredible.
