First time in and it was delicious! We were recommended to try the Pepperoni cheese curds, a definite must! The deep fried pepperoni was amazing!!
I had the Bacon Chix ranch sandwich and tots, it was ok not great. It needed mayo. Or aoli . Hubby had the West Texas with fries it was good he said. We appreciate the 15% discount for being Aquarium members.
We’ll be back to try a milkshake soon

We really enjoyed this restaurant overall. The fried chicken salad was amazing. It was probably one of the best fried chicken salads I have had in a really long time. My husband ordered the burger and said it was a little basic and did not have much flavor. It was just kind of uneventful.

The kids meals were a hit though. My daughter absolutely scarfed down her cheeseburger, which says a lot, and my son really enjoyed the hot dog.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. They checked on us often, offered refills, and were quick to clear the table as we finished our plates, which we appreciated.

My only minor complaint is accessibility. We are from out of town and had walked over from the aquarium with a stroller. There were multiple stairs to get into the restaurant, which made it really difficult with the stroller. We asked about using the elevator but were told it was for handicapped access only. Getting the stroller in and out was definitely a challenge.

Aside from that, we had a great experience and really enjoyed our visit.

I was at the Tennessee Aquarium just across the road for a few hours, and after I left I was kinda hungry. I walked around and checked out a few restaurants in the close area and decided to go to the Burger Republic. I ordered the “Burger Republic” and it was a decent sized burger the toppings were all great and crisp but even with the variety it still seemed a little bland. I just thought the meat needed more seasoning, now the fires were over salted, but not unbearably. Overall it was pretty good and I’d definitely go back , I’d just get the fries unsalted and use a dash on the burger. I definitely recommend it!

I went here in high hopes. Heard great things from people I know. I was very disappointed. I will start with the staff. Noone smiled, except the person I believe was the manager on duty. She came by and asked if everything was ok 1 time. No biggie. But it just seemed like everyone there hated their job. Not a good vibe at all. Second, I was looking for the restroom to wash my hands, and the closer I got to it the worse it smelled like sewage. The bathroom sink and faucet were disgusting. I cleaned it myself to make sure it wasn’t stained. It was just nasty. Silverware was dirty, we didn’t say anything because our food came out wrong already and the experience was dive bombing fast. Food: The burger was decent, but not $35 worth. 1 Tennessee Burger, extra patty with garlic fries and a drink was $35! Check out the pictures of this $35 meal. Not very impressive. I have not felt well since I ate there. Multiple bathroom trips, sorry for the TMI! The inside was actually cool. Decorated well and looked fairly clean. Overall, I have decided to never go back. Normally I give a second chance, but nope, one and done here. 1 star for food, though it wasn’t bad, it wasn’t good either. And definitely not worth what I paid. 1 star for service because of the horrible vibes the staff put off. Even smiling at them, nobody smiled back. You make that call, if you have a better experience please let me know. And FYI, the staff was not rude at all, but smiling goes a long way in any customer based industry.

We stopped in after visiting the aquarium and enjoyed a satisfying meal. We ordered the Black & Bleu burger, a classic cheeseburger, grilled cheese, tater tots, and Philly egg rolls. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. A nice bonus—if you have a printed aquarium ticket, there’s a deal on the back for a free milkshake with a $30 purchase, which we took advantage of. My daughter tried the Oreo milkshake; it was just okay, not as impressive as the food. Overall, a solid spot for a casual bite after a day of exploring.

If you’re in the area, or visiting the aquarium, stop in and enjoy the best burger you’ve ever had!
The boozy shake was amazing! I had the Malibu Barbie, also ordered the West Coast (very delicious In and Out burger feel), my husband got the 96 Burger and loved it as well!
Our bartender was phenomenal and so sweet! Excellent service, food and atmosphere! Five stars!!
Fabulous music and TVs were on sports. A girl couldn’t ask for more!

Stopped by Burger Republic after spotting an “award-winning burger” sign out front, and decided to give it a try. Overall, it’s a good, casual place for a bite if you’re in the area.

I ordered their award-winning “96” burger (minus the bacon). It was rich, flavorful, and definitely hearty, but a bit too heavy for my taste. Between the blue cheese and sautéed mushrooms, I found myself wishing for something acidic to balance it all out.

My vegetarian dining partner tried both their house-made veggie patty and an Impossible burger. I sampled the Impossible burger and thought it was pretty average compared to others I’ve had. Unfortunately it was underwhelming.

The tater tots on the other hand were a win. Crispy, hot, and a perfect side to the meal.

There’s a solid amount of variety on the menu, and I’d definitely come back to try more, especially some of the shakes. But if I’m being honest, I’ve personally had more satisfying burger experiences at places like Shake Shack or Five Guys.

As for the atmosphere, it’s laid-back and casual. You order at the counter, and there’s plenty of seating inside some outside. That said, a few indoor seating areas were blocked off during our visit due to leaks from the HVAC system (something I’d also read about in other reviews). There were buckets catching water and a couple “wet floor” signs near the bar, which didn’t ruin the experience but was definitely noticeable.

In short: Good food but not mind blowing, friendly enough service, and convenient location. I’ll be back.

Just like everyone else, our family crossed the street from the Aquarium to get some lunch! The line wasn’t terribly long when we arrived (although it was out the door when we finished ordering.) Our milkshakes arrived before the food and while they were modestly good, the flavor combinations didn’t really stand out as anything special.

But the burgers and tots were outstanding. I had the Tennessee Burger and it was perfect. No complaints! If we are ever in Chattanooga again, this will be on my list of places to revisit!

Really good food but the portions are small for the prices. You order at the door which creates a very small area for the line. Then you take a buzzer to your table and they bring the food to you. They give you cups for the self serve drink station.

After watching the new F1 movie at IMAX, we took just a few steps away to Burger Republic—because what’s more American than burgers after Formula 1?

This spot surprised us in the best way. It has large variety, from hearty salads to burgers to spiked milkshakes (yes, adult milkshakes are a thing), their menu has something for everyone. I didn’t try the Nutella spiked shake, but I’m still thinking about it.

We ordered right when we walked in and our food was delivered promptly to the table. My husband got the grilled chicken salad—and wow, they do not skimp on the protein.

Great food, great company, and a perfect ending to our night out downtown. Burger Republic, we’ll be back—and next time I’ll have the Nutella shake.
