Expensive but exquisite food with a proper wine list. The remote location makes it exciting to get to and has a great affect of your bringing people first time. Some of the meats are the charts, the French onion soup one of the best and even their cheapest wines were very very good

We have eaten here twice now and whilst the setting is superb and the food is good, the service is shocking. Not only did it take two hours for the food to arrive, the staff don’t care. A real shame for what could be the best place on the mountain!

Very disappointing experience, especially as we had enjoyed this restaurant on two previous visits.
We arrived for our booking on time, sat down and were not offered drinks for around 20 minutes. After finally ordering, the food order was taken and that was essentially the last interaction we had with staff for the rest of the meal. We repeatedly tried to order a second glass of wine but were completely ignored.
We ordered the côte de boeuf, which is expensive and unfortunately very average at best — quite tasteless and nowhere near worth the price. We’ve had far better elsewhere in Méribel.
Overall, poor service and underwhelming food made this a frustrating and disappointing visit. A real shame given how much we’d enjoyed it before.

Great restaurant. Only issue is prices have crept up over the years but the quality and consistency have slightly diminished. I’d have been fine with prices going up if the quality had stayed the same too. Regardless, it’s an experience and you should go there if you’re in Meribel.

truly the best experience in the 3 vallés yet. The path to arrive is truly beautiful and this place does the best cheeseburger and fondue that i’ve had while skiing . The atmosphere is amazing and the service was very kind . I highly recommend Le Clos Bernard !!!

Beautiful location in the forest behind Altiport. Food is good but overpriced. Service was attentive. There’s a horse carriage which get you there from the parking. Their €36 burger was trying too hard to be sophisticated. The lamb shank was nice and tender.
