That was the worst food I’ve ever had in my life. The naan was so bad and extremely hard. When I asked the guy taking the order, he told me the naan cook was on break. He should’ve just told us not to order it instead of giving that kind of excuse. The goat wasn’t cooked at all it was really hard, felt like frozen meat. I’ve never had food this bad in my life. I also ordered biryani and it was full of gravy with very little rice. The spice level wasn’t normal spicy; it was way too masala spicy. Worst of the worst food.
There was no hospitality at all. When I asked the guy what the house special was, he said they didn’t have one. I asked him to call the chef or manager and instead he kept asking me what I wanted. I finally told him to make any curry and asked for lamb, but even the lamb was extremely hard. We were super hungry, otherwise we wouldn’t even have eaten a single bite. We just had a little and left. Overall, it was the worst experience

I’ve visited this place before and absolutely loved it — especially the chicken and mutton dum biryani ❤️. Chicken 555 was delicious, and their jalebi and chikoo shake were great too. The staff had always been humble and welcoming, and I still appreciate how they once prepared buttermilk specially for me even though it wasn’t on the menu — true customer obsession!
However, today’s experience was very different. I ordered the mutton biryani again, but the raita and salan served with it seemed off — they had a foul smell and tasted like they had gone bad. Wanting to inform them, I called the restaurant, but I was told that “nobody else called today with such a complaint,” which came across as a bit defensive and indifferent.
I genuinely hope they look into this, because this place has always had the potential to be consistently great.

Went today for lunch buffet .wide variety were available and each dish tasted awesome above expected.555 chicken was great with butter flavour and tea was served too at end .service was too great,Worth the penny at cost of 20$ . Will definitely visit again and recommend others.

Excellent masala dosa — crisp, flavorful, and well-prepared. The potato filling was delicious, and the chutneys and sambar paired very well. Service was outstanding: friendly, attentive, and quick. Ambience was okay, nothing fancy, but comfortable. Overall, great food and service. Would definitely return.

I tried the karam podi chicken fry and it was absolutely fantastic.The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the presentation was beautiful. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the portion size was just right. Definitely a dish I’d come back for.

I tried the Dynamite Gobi and it was absolutely amazing. The cauliflower wastu perfectly crispy, coated in a flavorful, spicy sauce that hadis the right balance of heater and tang. The dish was fresh vibrant and supar satisfying. Definitely one of the best item I will tried highly recommended.

The food here is super authentic. I totally love their jalebi. I’ve tried jalebi in so many places in Seattle, Bellevue, and Redmond, and I haven’t found any better than this. Staff will be very friendly and owners are very nice. Items named pallesema and mylavaram in both veg and non veg are so good you must have a try. I recommend them.
And lastly, Irani chai the best you will find in bellevue and redmond. I recently moved to bellevue 4 months ago, we tried in many places(irani chai) this place has the best.

The sambhar that came with Masala dosa had a BIG DEAD HOUSE FLY in it. It was so disguising! I had to throw away the entire order. Would definitely avoid this place at all costs in future and let everyone know! Clearly extremely low cooking standards. Serious action needs to be taken!! I’m definitely going to reach food safety department.

I recently ordered takeout from Southern Spice Restaurant, and the overall experience with the food was very disappointing. I ordered the Goat Biryani, Chicken Lollypop, and Chitti Punugulu. The Biryani was terrible it lacked proper flavor, didn’t taste fresh, and was honestly one of the worst biryanis I’ve had. For a dish that’s supposed to be flavorful and rich, it was a complete letdown.
The Chicken Lollypop was below average, missing the crispness and seasoning that makes the dish enjoyable, and the Chitti Punugulu turned out bland and not as expected. On the positive side, the service was really nice and my to-go order was handled well, but the food itself was far below expectations. Southern Spice really needs to work on improving taste, freshness, and overall quality. Rating: 2/5
