We had our girls’ Christmas dinner at Amuri Restaurant this evening and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The restaurant is very cosy and beautifully styled it honestly felt like being welcomed into a family home.

The service was outstanding, we were looked after so well, and the owner came to our table for a chat, which made us feel incredibly welcome and at home.

And the food… absolutely incredible! The scallops for starters were the best I’ve ever had. The pasta with clams, monkfish and halibut was pure perfection I genuinely felt my serotonin levels rise from the very first bite! To finish, the tiramisu was outstanding and the perfect end to a beautiful meal.

Hands down the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had for food, service, and atmosphere combined. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back! ❤️

Perfectly cooked, freshly made pasta.
Not pictured was the burrata salad, it was the best & creamiest burrata we’ve ever had. Fresh seafood.
Every dish was delicious and perfectly executed.

Delicious food but the dishes are too small to my liking. Value for money is not great. Paying €56 for three courses and at the end being a bit peckish, makes you wonder…

Service was fine except advice about wine. They seem not familiar with basic topics.

The atmosphere inside is great, but the entrance to the restaurant looks a bit dodgy.

We had a nice dinner at Amuri. We were a large party and appreciate that they were able to accommodate us, as the restaurant has limited space. The staff is warm and welcoming. The food is good and menu is limited but the options are sufficient for any dietary restrictions. We had the croquettes, grilled octopus and tagliatelle with ragu. The stracciatella salad was delicious and refreshing. The tiramisu was nice and a clever presentation. The cannolis were also good. We had several bottles of the Bolgheri and then switched to the Barolo once it sold out. The Barolo was a fine choice. It was listed as a 2019 but 2020 was served. Very disappointed that the Bolgheri was listed as a 2019 but 2022 was served as it was way too young. They ran out of coffee so not everyone was able to enjoy an espresso. Overall, this was a pleasant experience for casual dining. Service charge was included. For a party of 8, we each had one appetizer, one entree, 4 bottles of wine, 4 dessert and 2 espresso and it was 250 per couple. A bit pricey for the experience but that’s what happens when you order wine!

We popped in for lunch on a blustery Saturday afternoon and were treated to a fantastic culinary experience. The meal began with a bowl of pillowy soft focaccia served simply with pure olive oil. Next came the starters — insalata of fresh greens over a soft pillow of creamy stracciatella; perfectly seared scallops with smoked caviar and squid ink crumble. For the main course — fresh tagliatelle with rich beef ragu; grilled octopus over a silky smooth sweet potato purée with ribbons of pickled zucchini and decadent triple cooked potatoes.

Absolutely fabulous!! We visited for the first time today (writing this from the dinner table) & were SO impressed by the service, food and general Sicilian atmosphere! The hosts were wonderful and welcoming, table service quick but with enough time in between to allow us to relax while listening to Dean Martin singing ‘That’s amore!’. Such a wonderful family atmosphere! Rivalling the standards of Toscana for Tiramisu! Thank you for the experience! Hard to believe this evening could be beaten! Ciao Bella! ❤️

We had no idea we would experience some of the best Sicilian food while traveling in Ireland. The food, the service, and the family who works here are all exceptional! We first found the delicatessen downstairs and they helped us find the way up to the restaurant. It’s an absolute must stop we would recommend to everyone.

Amazing place! We came here on the last night of our two week honeymoon trip and absolutely loved it. The service was great – felt very welcomed from the moment we walked in (big thank you to our waiter Andre!). Pace was relaxed, allowed us to enjoy conversation over a bottle of wine. Setting was very cozy and intimate – wood paneling and carpet allowed for great sound control. The place is located on the second story so you’re set back a bit from the noise of the street too. But it was not too quiet inside at all – lots of happy sounds from other tables also enjoying their meal and company. And finally the food was excellent. We loved the scallop starter, seafood pasta, pasta alla norma, and cannolo. The eggplant in the pasta alla norma was divine and that is NOT a phrase I have ever used regarding eggplant. It was such a wonderful evening and if we lived in Dublin we would be back all the time. Alas we have to travel back home but I would recommend it to anyone, whether you’re a Dublin resident or a visitor looking for a lovely dinner out.
