Gentleman attire counter was very polite and helpful. Had white rice with chicken curry and fried chicken. The fried chicken was very tasty. Went back tonight after work had rice and peas with curry goat gravy and fried chicken. I can easily say one of the best Jamaican spot I have tried over the year.

The stew chicken and rice and peas is great. The music being played was great. But the attitude of the woman that worked on Saturday September 28 was really bad. One of the customers had to wipe up his own table and the response from the woman was maybe he was the person who messed up the table in the beginning how do we know it was not him. My response was that the man had just placed his order and wanted to sit down. The point is the woman worker was rude.

This a great authentic Jamaican Caribbean food restaurant. The staff if very friendly and welcoming. I have tried almost the whole menu and I have been blown away everytime. I recommend this place to everyone and when they try it they always feel the same as I do.

There is a woman who serves behind the counter whose customer service skills are horrific. She is rude and behaves as if the customers are bothering her. I dread encountering her. She is rude and needs to be taught customer service 101. Treat your customers with respect. To make matters worst the food is not good at all. Never again.

Lady at the counter was very nasty to me this morning. I said to someone on my phone that I was going to go home because the guy who was serving me said there’s no dumpling left and she muttered I do t need to stay I can always go. She denied it of course because she didn’t know I heard her . I told her I’m a customer and if there were no customers there would be no jobs. She argued and argued anyway. They need to change counter persons and give the job to self respecting people who will respect their customers in return . I would never recommend this restaurant to another living soul as long as she’s working there .

Whoeva calls this slop authentic Jamaican cuisine is no real Jamaican. Me live in the area. And me ah try dem food one time cuz me here it good. Neva again me eat from there. The rice ah taste burnt, no seasonings ( coconut ). $12 me ah pay for a small box of oxtails rice and peas. They ah fill me plate wif vegetables thinking thats cute. Me nah play that tactic of loading my plate wif vegetables to save on the oxtails. The rice dry and tasteless. The chef/cook need to be fired. This is trash step ur game up. Now if u want decent/good Jamaican food try Universe on 3rd in Mount Vernon or New Taste on 225th st and Bronxwood. They good mon. Me ah yankee boi, but me f×*ks wif Jamaicans. Why should we have to settle for garbage in our communities. We should expect the best from our local restaurants so that our neighborhood eateries are mentioned amongst the greats. That black food and culture should not be relegated to the bottom of the pot literally and dismissed. Have pride in your food and culture.
