Great pub. Friendly and welcoming crew. As an “additive free tequila” nerd I was thrilled to see Lalo on the shelf. The associated food truck makes a KILLER burger and the prices are very reasonable. Can’t wait to visit again when I’m back in town next year.

This place hit me like a hallucination in the middle of a beige and wind-beaten town, where tumbleweeds outnumber humans and the sun has no off switch. The Lost Dog Bar—bless its feral, beer-soaked soul—isn’t just a bar. It’s a hideout. A rogue’s gallery. A gently humming nerve center for the kind of people who know the difference between being lost and being free.
The beer list reads like the manifesto of a madman with taste—regional staples, strange imports, and thank Christ, Shiner Bock on tap. Cold, alive, and served in a glass like they meant it. None of that plastic-cup horseshit. I took one long sip and felt my bloodstream settle into a calmer, more primitive rhythm.
Pool tables in back—green felt altars where fortunes, pride, and sobriety are casually sacrificed. The cues were straight, the balls rolled true, and nobody looked twice if you swore at the eight ball like it owed you money.
Outside, the beer garden spread out under a prairie sky big enough to swallow your regrets. A scattering of picnic tables, string lights, the scent of dust and distant cornfields. I half expected a coyote to wander in and order a Coors. It wouldn’t have felt out of place.
The whole joint has this modern-but-local energy—like someone took a design class and still knows how to fix a carburetor. Clean, sharp lines. Comfortable stools. Good lighting, good humans, no forced smiles. You can tell they gave a damn when they built it. And you can feel it when you sit down and breathe.
Five stars, easily. Hell, I’d give it six if they let me keep the glass. A bar like this doesn’t just serve beer—it serves a purpose. And out here, that means everything

We were just passing through and stopped for a quick bite. The people were absolutely some of the kindest we have crossed in our travels! Super welcoming, the pub was adorable, good bbq, and an overall excellent experience. We will definitely be stopping back in on our way home!

Found it on Google expecting a restaurant—walked into a confusing bar/food truck mashup with zero signage and even less clarity. Food was okay once I figured out how to get it, but the whole experience felt like a scavenger hunt with burgers at the end.

Best bar in Baca county! Good selection of draft beers. Great place to enjoy the broncos game, or play around of pool! We didn’t eat, but enjoyed chopping it up with some locals.

Really enjoyed having a couple of drinks at this place. Great service and nice environment. Great job bringing back a place that was once a car dealership and later a shoe store. Looking forward to next time.

We ordered the cowboy burger, the jalapeño popper burger, fried pickles, fried cheesecake, and sweet potato fries! All of these were extremely delicious and definitely must haves for anyone visiting. We got stuck due to highway shut downs and the owner and her son helped us out big time!!!

This place was amazing. There are events almost every night to change it up. The owner and her daughter were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food truck was better than a kitchen with many options. I would highly recommend Lost Dog!
