I’ve been to Jamaican Vibes many times. I hadn’t been in a while so I decided to stop by. I usually get the curry or jerk chicken. I decided to order the jerk chicken this time.
My visit to the restaurant was like all others. The staff person behind takes my order and he prepares my food. He is always courteous and makes sure I get what I ask for. For my sides, I had mac and cheese and yellow rice.
After I received my food, I headed home with my car smelling delicious. When I got home I dove in to my food. The mac and cheese and rice were delicious but of course the jerk chicken was the star. It never fails. The spice level is always the same as I remember. I always need a napkin to wipe my forehead. It was extremely delicious.

The food here is delicious. It does seem authentic. Their Mac and cheese is delicious and a must. Their jerk chicken is also very good. The man serving me is always nice. The only thing is that you have to go early enough to get certain menu options. I went once and they were out of food I wanted bc they sold out. I want to go again and make sure I try the other items. They are consistently good every time I’ve gone since I started. I am new to town and most restaurants I’ve tried are a flop. This one is delicious, despite being a lil pricey.

The Jerk Chicken, yellow rice, amd mac-n-chz with Kola Champagne soda and Tropical Rhythm fruit punch hit the spot! Perfect amount of spice! Awesome service, super friendly. And as the only white person in the place the whole time, I felt extremely welcome and at home while I relaxed to the music and ate. Definitely recommend if you are in Mobile!

Owner- very rude, rushed me to order after the item I asked for was not available
Jerk chicken is decent a little dry. Food is pricey for small portions of protein.
The enviros not very inviting. The decor is bland. The owners son is nice but slow. The dad waits for the line to get extremely long before he offers help. Then speaks to customers In a very aggravated tone. I wouldn’t go back.

My daughter and I was missing home cooked meals and I didn’t feel like cooking, so i decided to try this place bc everyone kept talking about it. Honestly the food lacked authentic flavors(bland). I ordered the oxtail. I was excited to see the fried dumpling but when i got home it was cornbread! For $30?! I’ll stick to cooking my own.

While on my constant hunt for good Jamaican food, I stopped by Jamaican Vibes restaurant. Yep, hunting for Jamaican in good ol Alabama and I found some. As always, I love food to be hot and fresh, and it was. I tried the Brown Stew chicken, and I really enjoyed how great it tasted. I also tried the Jerk Chicken. It was very spicy. I liked the cabbage served with it, and there was also a tasty corn muffin. Nice sized portions at this location as well.

Unexpected gem in Mobile! Who would’ve thought you could find such delicious Jamaican food in Mobile, AL, but this spot delivers. The jerk chicken was cooked to order and came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor, and the Jamaican chicken patty is a must-add to your order. Do yourself a favor and pick the Mac-N-Cheese as one of your sides—it’s rich, cheesy, and pairs perfectly with the jerk spices.

Don’t waste your taste buds. For as thick as the accent is, they can’t cook. Yes, the customer service is there, but that’s all you are getting. Food is not well seasoned, recipes are lacking, and within an hour of opening, they don’t have the food available. I was so mad that I spent money on this- it was gross.

As a traveler, I’m always looking for locals to recommend good places. From TikTok to the front desk lady, this was on the list. My verdict? It was good but not great. The gentleman was very nice. Food was already on the line. I got take out but tried it immediately in the car, and it was warm at best. Worth a try if you’re in the area.
