The chicken here was cooked in bad oil or recooked. The food had a funny smell and did not taste good at all. The crust was soggy and you can see in the photos seems to be overcooked. The biscuits were in a bag not boxed, and needless to say were hard as a rock. This establishment is hit or miss. Sometimes you get decent food and other times you get horrible food that’s a waste of your money.
I don’t understand why they can’t keep this place clean and provide good tasting food. It’s quite disappointing.

Used to be awesome. Had some difficulty yesterday. My wife wanted their 10 piece Dark Special Deal. Surly young male employee said it would be 15 minutes. I said fine. After 25 minutes waiting, female employee said it would be 10 minutes! Twice she offered refund or substitution. I said I’d wait. After 45+ minutes total wait time, received our order.
Got home and found that, instead of a large container of mashed potatoes, we had received a small and large container of white gravy. Very disappointed. WTH???

Been going to this location for about ten years. Love the chicken here. Fried chicken is my happy place when properly cooked. This location nails it 95% of the time. Golden crispy fresh hot well breaded chicken. Not heavily seasoned. You’ll find me here almost every Tuesday for the Tuesday special. There a “Chicken Tuesday” joke about me. The $1 large unsweet tea is excellent and fresh and for those who can handle sugar, the sweet tea is very sweet. Go to this location on a Tuesday and ask for the off-menu Tuesday special: a drumstick, thigh and a biscuit for $~2.25 and add a tea. Lunch for $3.25. I get 8 specials and feed the whole family for about 20 bucks, with leftovers. Be sure to crack open the box on the way home if you get to-go so the moisture escapes and chicken stays crispy on the ride. Great fried okra as well. It’s a madhouse if you go after the school across the street dismisses. The service has been getting better since Covid. Big thanks to the cook, it’s great!

Alex, the general manager, made sure we received top teir service tonight as we grabbed dinner. The food was extremely fresh and quickly made ready. He went above and beyond by making our visit the most welcoming trip with amazing quick conversation as our food was prepared. I would highly recommend you grab lunch or dinner here any time if the day!

Got back to the house just to find out I didn’t get the okra and the wrong size of Coleslaw. Spent 90 something dollars, you would think they would make sure the order was right. Alex the general manager had an attitude about the situation then when asked if he could look up the order by the ticket number he said he would have to look it up all individually. Which is crazy I’ve worked at fast food places and you can look up the order by the number. He didn’t want to do he’s job that’s all it was. Worst customer service specially coming from a so called general manager… I will be filing a complaint with the district manager.

This is by far the Worst location! Every time we go here, they are rude and act like they have no time for their customers. Today at 11:45a Friday at Lunch time they said “Mac & Cheese is not ready yet” The food also looks terrible, shouldn’t everything be fresh right before a lunch rush? The fries look old and dried out and the chicken is greasy, like it sat in the grease for A while. Hire Better for as much as you charge!

The employee was a rude skinny man with long black hair. I asked him if the fries were fresh. He said they’re up there aren’t they?. The fries was over cooked and cold. the Chicken was over cooked and greasy. I will stick with Bushs Chicken up the road from there. I should have know when I saw a pile of Chicken and a tray of fries with very few customers, I know why now.
