Walked in early on a Sunday afternoon and we quickly greeted at the counter to place our order. Ease of order was super, the individual taking our order was friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. My gripe about the entry is that we weren’t hit with the immediate aroma of a BBQ place…that’s one of the best things about going out for BBQ, but oh well.
We placed our order for one large Onion Ring starter, two brisket plate meals, a Not So Naked Tater, two fountain drinks, and a water…it came to about $75.00 so I was really looking forwrd to some good portions and tasty food.
Those little cheesy cornbead appetizers came to the table first. I didn’t eat any of them so I won’t comment on them. They were quicly followed by the LARGE Onion Ring starter with 10 rings. That’s not even a whole onion…they’re making a killing on onion rings if they’re back there slicing onions, battering them up and frying them in house. They tasted good, but the portion size was awful.
Our food was not far behind…it arrived hot and looked delicious (which is a good thing, because it’s the eyes that eat first). The Not So Naked Tater was jampacked with goodness and the person who ordered it said that it was very tasty and a nice sized tater. My brisket tasted really good. It was seasoned just right, but it had a hint of smoke flavor…not exactly what I was hoping it would be. It was clearly smoked, no doubt about that…but it didn’t have as much smoke flavor as I was expecting. I was also a bit disappointed by the portion size. If my meal were a combo two-meat meal where brisket were one meat and maybe smoked sausage (which I found odd that they don’t have on the menu), then the portion of brisket would have been suitable…but it was a single-meat meal with two sides. My sides of mac-n-cheese and corn on the cob were good…with the corn being the better of the two.
Was also a bit disappointed that there was only ONE BBQ sauce offered at the table. I thought they offered a variety of sauces for sale at the counter, so why not showcase those same sauces at the table? I don’t know…but it doesn’t seem like good business to me.
Overall, the service was fantastic, but frankly, I was disappointed considering the hype that surrounded this place when it came to Clarksville. Food was overpriced for the portions, likely won’t go back.

Getting out of our vehicle the smokehouse aroma was very inviting and it hovered within the dining area as a perfect reminder this a bbq experience. Customer service , specifically Bri, from start to finish was great She was very informative about the menu and she was pleasant with each response. However, I would’ve liked silverware settings to be placed at the time of our seating. I heard another couple inquiring about silverware as well. Food came out hot and quick, Dorothy’s tea is tea’n. I’m very pleased with this bbq experience, I didn’t spread the sauce over all the meat because I wanted to savor Alllll the smoke ,of the meat that is! I am leaving fit, fine, and full! JNN’s is alright with me. The original sauce is delicious. I did get the banana pudding but I’m too full to even sample it and I am a Samplin’ Sista! Oh yes drinks are refillable and I want a to -go cup! Mac-n-cheese bussin and the coleslaw was good just prepare your pallet for a little different flavor!

First and last visit. This place is OK, but the BBQ vibe here was not very authentic. We spent $37 for two brisket sandwich combos and two sodas. The single order point at the entrance really doesn’t give you much chance to get familiar with the electronic menu. We ordered then perused their paper menu while we waited for our order. We found other things on the paper menu we might have wanted to order had we known about them. Well. the serving staff was very nice and were the highlight of our visit. I felt this was too fancy-schmancy a place for BBQ.

The reviews are what lead me to this restaurant. Its an interesting set up with food orders entered on entry like a cafeteria style. Once we sat, a server met us at the table and brought cheddar biscuits (delish!). However, we had 4 people and 2 received their food together and 2 of us waited about 20 minutes. It was interesting they did not wait to serve us all together. It was hard to catch the servers attention to get anything else. The food was mostly good. We had wings, the loaded baked potatoe, and ribs. My son who loves ribs gave them 6/10. The downfall was the price. $86 before tip for 4 people was pricy. For that reason I am not sure we will be back when visiting town again.

I don’t even leave reviews on restaurants!!! I placed an order through DoorDash!!! & Most of the time whenever I have food doordashed it’s mediocre. This place was an easy 10/10!!! I could imagine how it taste when dining in!! HATS OFF TOO THE COOK !!!! Can’t wait to dine in. The Mac and cheese was a 10/10 , collard greens reminds you of your grannies & the chicken tenders are massive but not the fatty kind straight white meat!!! I also ordered 2 sandwiches one pulled pork & the other chicken & my spouse said they were FIREEEEEE!!! He couldn’t even finish one sandwich because they were LOAADDDEDDD & packed with meat. Will definitely continue to eat here.

It was my husband and I’s first time visiting because our friend said this place is amazing and….WOW!! I had gotten the catfish sandwich, my husband got the marbled brisket sandwich. We started with the loaded queso (no pico), if youre a queso lover like me, you will love it despite the heat that comes from the jalapeño sausage in it. As soon as we sat down we were greeted by the bartender (sorry girlfriend, we’re so bad at names) who gave the names of everyone who will be able to care for us. The atmosphere was great, the booths were probably the comfiest booths I’ve ever sat in! I could write an essay about how amazing my first experience is ❤️ we definitely will be back

Been Driving by this place on my way to Judo for some time. Honestly I was very suspicious because it looked like a fast food restaurant and nit a Real BBq establishment. However I stand corrected on that; this place is off the chain good. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially out server Bryanna was very knowledgeable of the menu and truly knew southern hospitality and service I will definitely be back there BBq is on point has definitely a real smoke ring and full flavor . I didn’t really need much sauce, for me thats means it’s cooked on point. Make room for dessert too thats all yummy too. This is definitely going to be our new date night spot. So far in my opinion this is Clarksvilles best BBq restaurant im town. And yes I have eaten at all other establishments

This was my second time coming the first was dine in and the second was drive through. I would never go thru drive through again just because it’s hard to catch discrepancies in your meal until everything has been unpacked. My first time was amazing. The service is top notch and food was great. The banana pudding and cornbread , well I’ll let you be the judge, these were purchased in the drive through on my second return. The bananas in there were sooty and green/ brown and tried moving things around to get a better picture and it’s not cheap for that small container. Their meats are hands down the best I’ve ever tasted from a chain store. Will return just not for the deserts .

The mac n cheese kids meal is meatless! It was PROPER Mac n cheese- baked and dense and flavorful. The slaw was so nicely seasoned too. Deviled eggs were also tasty . This place has the speed of fast food with the quality of a sit down restaurant. Sitting outside was so pleasant too!

Probably one of the best bbq chains I’ve gone too. Those cornbread muffins were brought to our table warm and they were delicious. I ordered the 3 meat trio and upgraded two of the meats to ribs and brisket with baked beans and potato salad. The other meat was the Carolina pulled pork. My wife ordered the regular pulled pork with mac n cheese. The ribs had all the smoke with a nice smoke ring and good flavor. Nothing needed to be added. The pulled pork on the other hand didn’t have much flavor outside the spicy (more mild) vinegar sauce. It tasted more oven baked than smoked. But I will say they didn’t give much bark, mostly inside meat. However, if done properly, even the inside meat should still be a little more smokey flavored. The brisket was tender with a nice bark. I asked for marbled, but like the pulled pork it lacked the smokey flavor. It was still decent. Overall the food was enjoyable. We also got a banana pudding that was really good. My only two complaints were that the pulled pork had bone shards in it. That can be quite dangerous for someone as pulled pork shouldn’t have bone in it at all. My wife and I both pulled them out our mouths as we were eating. One was pretty sharp. The 2nd complaint was flies. We are inside and we’re fanning flies away the entire time. One landed in my wife’s drink and of course we were given another cup quickly. The staff was great though. Super friendly and attentive.
