Was here for a few days on business, this placed popped up and I’m glad I went. Really nice patio area and bar, they had great music playing, sports on the tv and very clean. Atmosphere was great, plenty of space, the food was fantastic and fast. The service was phenomenal, very attentive and friendly to an out of towner. Will return when I’m back in the area.

This place has drastically went downhill. Over the summer time we got a take out container filled with hair. Was told it must of fell on the ground and clung to everything on the floor. Gave this place another shot for my daughter’s birthday tonight because it’s her favorite place to eat and again was highly disappointed. New staff not properly trained. New cook who said they just threw him out and wasn’t properly trained. Added shrimp to kids meals and it was more expensive than the actual shrimp dinner meal. Was told the owner made a mistake in the new system and was offered a dollar discount. The food is good and this place could really be great again. I hope management steps up before they lose more and more business because I’m sure they can see the lack of customers from a once packed restaurant.

We drove from the next county over to try ROBOKYO Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar in Greensburg, and it did not disappoint! This has easily been the best hibachi experience we’ve had in the Greater Pittsburgh area.
The dining areas are well divided, so it never felt too loud or chaotic, and the space does a great job absorbing sound. Our chef was very talented and entertaining—he did plenty of tricks and kept everyone laughing while cooking perfectly.
My wife ordered the steak and shrimp, and I went with the scallops. Both dishes were excellent—definitely worth the splurge! The quality of the proteins really stood out, and we’d happily order them again next time.
We were seated with another family since there were only two of us, but the restaurant didn’t overpack the table, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, ROBOKYO delivered fantastic food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. Absolutely worth the trip—we’ll be back!

I had a gift card and am from out of town. While I was in town I wanted to order takeout and use what I had left of the gift card. I was unable to use the app to order or to order by phone and was instructed to come inside to order. The service was terrible and the person who came in after me was told he could order takeout from the outside pickup window. I would have done so as well had I known. I asked for no onions in my tuna roll and there onions. I asked for avocado to be added to both rolls I ordered and was charged for it. There was very little to no avocado in my eel roll and the eel was chewy. The shrimp in the hibachi was undercooked and under flavored as was the hibachi rice. The only redeeming factor was that the filet was cooked well. I gave Robokoyo a second chance because I still had funds left on the gift card from my first visit. I chalked up the first visit to maybe they were having an off day, but I won’t be returning or recommending this restaurant to anyone. Sad, because the person who purchased the gift card for me got it recommended as the best sushi in the area. Unfortunately this is not true. I can find way better sushi for way lower prices elsewhere.

Overall I give this restaurant a 3 star rating. Mainly because the atmosphere and service sucks. The food on the other hand, the sushi in particular, is the best in the area. When you walk in the restaurant the greeting is not friendly what-so-ever. Then we sat in “the dining room” which was a hollow like room with benches outlining the room. It was very weird sitting there with my date and having to look directly across from me at complete strangers. The room also had a terrible echo that the restaurant tries to drown out by blasting music. Once our food finally came and we ate, the waitress clearly knew we were finished because I asked for a to-go container which she gave me but lacked to bring our check for over 30 additional minutes. For spending almost $90 just on sushi alone I would expect a heck of alot better atmosphere and service than what is provided. Very very strange experience. I will only get to-go orders going forward and will just eat at home.

We went for New Years Eve dinner. It was a really nice time. There a small mishap where the waiterss dropped soup on one of us. So after we cleaned the table and got most of the soup off of his shirt and jacket things were fine. It was an honest mistake and we both completely understand that things happen.
Our chef was funny and did a really hood job making our food. My favorite part was after the flaming volcano he added something to it that made it sputter like a volcano erupting. I got the teriyaki swordfish and it was good, they just added it back on the menu.
Overall the experience was fun and we will go back. Good thing we didn’t have other plans after dinner as he needed to fully change of out the wet clothes.

Great show and good service. The chefs were friendly and warned our kids who were scared of fire ahead of time. The food was your normal hibachi fare, huge portions but salty. They also used a ton of garlic butter but I didn’t go in expecting a healthy meal . Several of our party ordered sushi, most ordered chicken hibachi and I ordered vegetables. Kids got Dragon fingers (chicken). It’s expensive but you’re paying for the show too.

Excellent lunch with portion sizes as big as dinner. Rice in my maki shrimp roll was a little dry but they did customize both rolls I ordered so that made up for the dry rice. I ordered the steak and shrimp and my husband ordered the steak and chicken both came with soup or salad a shrimp or mushrooms appetizer and fried rice.

First time trying this restaurant with my friend. It was a little difficult to find the restaurant only because it’s located in a residential district, but almost literally off the main Route 30. Regardless, the overall experience was extraordinary. We arrived about 10 minutes after they opened, so not crowded.
You cannot beat the bar menu prices, their dinner combo meals include a large portion of fried rice, a side of vegetables, and a protein of your choice. You get all of that for $13-$17. It’s one of the best restaurants for a quality lunch meal at an affordable price.
I also ordered their seasonal sangria and while it was served in a smaller glass than I expected, I’ve learned that taste is far more important than quantity. It’s worth the price for the amount that you get.
