Best Thai food in Vancouver! The dishes are authentic and full of flavor. The chef is very nice and clearly puts a lot of care into the food. Service is also the best — friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great Thai food!

Celebrated my husband’s birthday lunch here at Sip Song Thai Cuisine—booked ahead and loved the relaxed vibe! Found a “Happy Birthday” sign on our table + free drink from the owner. Super warm service; they even took our photo!
Food was delicious & Instagram-worthy. Will pre-order the fish, raw shrimp, beef skewers & pork neck next time—must-tries!
Perfect birthday spot—great food, service & vibe. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The only place in Vancouver that serve authentic Leng Saap, you can’t go wrong with the taste, meat is tender and juicy, the sauce is packed with spices and flavour, yet isn’t overpowering. Tom Yum is pretty nice but you can’t even compare it with the Leng Saap.
The portion is better suit for 3-4 person but me and my partner can devour 2 out of 3 of the meat.
Next time I should try out their noodles as they seem pretty delicious as well!

An absolute hidden gem in Vancouver! We visited a couple of weeks ago as a group of five for dinner, and every dish was beautifully cooked and thoughtfully presented. The portions were generous and offered great value for money. Highly recommend the pomelo salad, red curry, and braised pork knuckle — all packed with flavour. The boat noodle was another standout of the night!

Omg my favourite Thai food restaurant in town. Chicken wings are even better than Church’s. Not grease, super crunchy coating on the outside and tender juicy meat on the inside. The curry just makes u wanna eat more and more rice! Plus with relatively affordable price! Definitely Recommend!!

“Sip Song” (สิบสอง) means twelve (12) in Thai. It is formed by combining sip (สิบ, meaning ten) and song (สอง, meaning two). It also refers to Thai cuisine in contexts of 12 essential ingredients of Thai cuisine or cultural, historical names. The restaurant name “Sip Song,” it is used as a pun for “sipping” drinks.
Ordered red curry chicken, beef skewers and pork hock on rice.

Visited Sip Song for my big milestone birthday with my bestie. The ambiance, service and food was excellent. Portions were generous, the spices and taste were authentic and I highly recommend this little hole in the wall to anyone looking for an authentic Thai experience. We ordered the pomelo salad, boat noodles and Thai green curry. I got the lemongrass tea which was very refreshing addition to lunch!

A happy discovery of a hidden gem!
I was pleasantly surprised to find authentic Thai flavours here in Vancouver. Every dish we tried was delicious, but my personal favourite was the Thai Braised Whole Pork Hock, tender yet still a little chewy, with a perfectly balanced sauce that paired so well with rice.

We also tried the pomelo salad, which was such a treat since not many Thai restaurants in Vancouver serve it. Refreshing, bright, and full of flavour. The beef and chicken satay were equally tasty, well-seasoned, cooked just right, and honestly perfect to enjoy with a cold beer.

The chef and staff were friendly and thoughtful. Since I went with two young kids, they kindly reminded us that the boat noodles might be a little spicy and even offered to prepare a milder version for them. That small gesture really stood out.

As someone who loves spicy food, I couldn’t get enough of their house-made chili sauce, it was so good I asked if they sold it (sadly, it’s only made in-house!).

Overall, the food and service made for a really enjoyable experience. A nice bonus, parking on that street was easy, which is always a relief when dining out with kids.

I visited on a Thursday around 5:30 p.m. and got a table right away, but by 6:00 p.m. the place was full. Next time, I’ll probably make a reservation to be safe.
