In addition, the employee displayed an unprofessional and dismissive attitude when I addressed that my fries were not prepared correctly. I was told to “calm down,” despite simply bringing the issue to his attention. After working a 16-hour shift, I did not expect to be treated in this manner as a paying customer.
I am concerned about both improper food handling practices and the level of customer service at this location.
I’m writing to report a serious incident that happened at your West Orange, NJ location about three weeks ago. I’ve lived in West Orange my whole life and have been a loyal customer of this location for years.
After receiving an incorrect order, I politely brought it back inside. The manager on duty, Lou, dismissed my concern without checking properly—then shockingly called me a “stupid nagger” in Spanish.
I immediately reported this to her supervisor, Renee, who did nothing. No apology, no accountability—and Lou is still working there.
This behavior is disgusting and unacceptable, especially from a manager. I’m asking for a full investigation and clear action to be taken.
