All I know is this guy put his heart and soul into this pizza tastes and it really shows I definitely will come back and definitely will be ordering more. And please excuse the poor photo this was at the end of the day around 4:00 and it was still delicious
Came here for a by the slice option. 6 bucks seemed like an OK deal despite being able to get a single – actual – slice at costco for 2 bucks. Costco sauce is of course just tomato sauce and some oregano or whatever, but is still ok for 2 bucks. Anyway, went through drive through which I thought was cool at a pizza shop. Guy greeted me and said the speaker was not working and pull to window without an order. Ok, it happens…
Order the pizza and it takes forever. I note the pizzas are pre-cooked (obviously – given its by the slice, not gonna cook a whole pie each time) that’s then kept under a weird hot hold. The pizza is then I presume thrown back in the oven to warm it back up to temp and put into a Styrofoam box.
Pizza was… not good. Sauce was lacking any substance of flavor, crust was dryyyyy and cheese was meh. Overcooked (double cooked….) and bland, and for 6 bucks a jumbo was more like an average albeit slightly larger slice than a normal pizza hut large slice… it was like a oven pizza we get at the store that had been quartered.
Staff guy seemed nice but wasn’t very personable despite having to wait 5 minutes for my “fresh” jumbo slice in a drive through that was empty.
Lastly… Styrofoam. I hate to be the “save the earth” guy, but for 6 bucks a slice get the paper slice holders. It costs 8 cents more…. 15 cents for the recycled version and doesn’t kill the planet with non-biodegradeable Styrofoam.
Pictures are included, but despite wanting this place to be awesome, it completely missed the mark and isn’t worth a return visit. Too much competition in this space and area to even begin to think about coming back. A whole pie at little caesars is hit and fresh for 6 bucks. Not… rewarmed…
But I wanted to relate an experience. We just ordered pizza, but I a) put the wrong address on the online order and b) had my phone on silent and missed the call when they tried to ask where the right one was. I realized my mistake after ten minutes, called them, got it resolved. They remade the pizzas, gave us the old pizzas PLUS the new ones, and a completely undeserved coupon besides!
Look, that’s the kind of service that deserves celebration. And also our repeat custom. Thanks, team!.
