This was my first time at Lee’s. Our server Samantha was great … must say one of the top 3 of all time for me. Food was decent except for the house fried rice, I noticed previous posts showed brown fried rice. My rice was white ?????
Drinks was horrible. Samantha was nice enough to take them back and make something different. When she returned with two different drinks …. It was even worse. We didn’t even drink our alcoholic beverages (what a waste of money). They either need a new bartender or new drinks. I was very disappointed and Samantha came back over and asked if I liked the new drink? I responded with no very strong and i couldn’t drink it but did not ask her to take it back as it was not her fault. I did tip her Extremely well as it wasn’t her fault. I will not be returning.

Please be aware as of last week they have new owners. We brought food today and it was horrible. House fried rice had no vegetables tasted like white rice with meat. Beef and broccoli was half full and looked nothing like beef and broccoli. We called and asked what’s going on they said it’s new owners and asked to be patient with them. They could have said it was new owners when we called. I been going to Lee’s since I was a kid and I will never return

CAUTION – new owners. Our meal came out one meal at a time over the course of thirty minutes turning my mother’s birthday dinner with her family into a disaster. We ordered boneless ribs and they were burnt and had the same texture as a pig ear I’d give my dogs. My brother in law ordered beef and broccoli and they tried to give him chicken and they fought with him over his order, when he finally got it the egg roll and beef was under cooked. They messed up the kids order and my dad never even got his food. We all had awful uncooked rice the list goes on and on. I had to talk to my daughter about having pride in what you do because I wouldn’t serve any of this food to a guest in my house. This is not the Lee’s you know or remember, this is a mess. Avoid at all costs.

Say goodbye to the old Lee’s, new owners have ruined the place. This used to be the best Chinese food in R.I and M.A, I’ve been going there for 20 years now I wouldn’t feed that food to my dog. It was horrible and a waste of money. The bag for take out just feel apart and the containers with the food spilling hard, nasty rice everywhere. NO MORE HOUSE SAUCE, the golden chicken fingers were burnt, rubber and nasty. Would not recommend at all, so glad I’m not the only one who has noticed. When I went back they were rude, ignorant and blamed me for the bad food and garbage bags and containers. PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Well just threw this garbage away. To all my townies and lee lovers. The best Chinese arround is no longer. It has new owners and is a hot mess. Ordered general taos gave me just breaded chicken fingers covered in sweet n sour sauce one scoop of rice. They check the orders. Bags just sit up there while your waiting. Staff just playing arround they seem attentive but anyone can tell they just have no clue. What ashame and a disgrace to all the hard work and love the old family put in to the businesses which is why it is still thriving. Well just have to wait for the next owners cause these owners won’t last. Maybe 5 years I give it . If you can’t cook why bother.so disappointed.

NEW LEE’S under new management as of 6.2025:
Absolute trash.
Acted poorly towards the Lee family, Cindy, and other beloved employees.
You can try anything you want after that, but my family won’t forget it.
P.S. They got the restaurant without the recipes. Before we knew what was said to the employees, we visited. POOR service. Mall chinese food. Smaller portions. Higher prices. A no-go for my family and I!
OLD LEE’S:
I am convinced this is the BEST chinese food in the world. Living in Texas now, Lee’s is ALWAYS on my shortlist of restaurants to go to when visiting home.
Large portions. Great value for your money. 100/10 in deliciousness – dine-in or take-out.
The incredible & attentive staff make every experience even better.
Cannot wait to go back!

New owners killed Lee’s. 20+ years was the best Chinese place. Don’t waste your money here if they reopen again.. Try Dragon of Riverside.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The photo shows a small chow mein, that’s all the noodles provided….you will see most of the container of gravy on the side. Also, those are now the dumplings, they are small and only give 5. Absolutely horrible now that they are under new management. Go to China Gourmet, much better food.
